Love dillies. I also can four bean salad as well as green beans by the quart but I have never seen a harvest like this.

I started 40 plants from seed thinking I would get about half instead they all sprouted. And it has kept on that way.

Is as if God finally heard all the prayers I made for my beans for the past four years and looked down and said, "Thou shalt have BEANS!" If only he would bless my tomatoes that way.

Hah! We have more tomatoes (red & yellow) than we know what to do with them, giving some away to friends. We’ll be lucky to get a pound of beans until the second crop. If we were neighbors, we could trade beans for ‘maters.

I made the Rookie Mistake one year of planting not one, but, TWO big plantings of Pole Green Beans.

OMG! We were SO sick of beans! Of course, we ate them all, but my kid still mentions ‘The Green Bean Year’ from time to time. ;)
