The House of Representatives voted Thursday against a GOP-led effort to fine Attorney General Merrick Garland $10,000 a day until he provided audiotapes of an interview President Joe Biden gave in his classified documents case.
Last month, House Republicans voted to hold Garland in contempt for refusing to comply with a request from lawmakers to hand over the audio of Biden's interview with Department of Justice (DOJ) special counsel Robert Hur. On Wednesday, GOP Representative Anna Paulina Luna introduced the resolution that would have imposed the fine on Garland until he complied with a congressional subpoena.
However, Luna's measure failed in a 204-210 vote. Four Republicans joined the Democrats in rejecting the effort.

It’s also worth noting Dan Crenshaw was 1 of 2 Republicans to refrain from voting (Massie was the other).
Traitorous wretches...pathetic goons.
They’ve all slept with little boys, and it’s on film.
Might have something to do with his decision.
The 'Ratz play hardball.
I can see these 6 Republicans in the same cell block, waiting for their one-way march to the ‘shower room’ saying to each other:
“You know, maybe those Extremist Republicans were right, Democrats are really a threat to us, even though we tried being nice to them.”
Massie always has a sound constitutional reason for his votes. I have not seen his explanation for this one, but I will reserve judgement until then.
Screw the fine. Send in the Sergeant at Arms. Cowards.
Compromised.. Useless cucks who have been found in immoral or illegal situations. Like laundering their ill gotten money in Ukraine.....like the demoncrats do.
Tell me California is not a peste-hole!
Is it that these guys are just RINOs or is it that Speaker Johnson told them since they are in safe Republican seats that they can go ahead and vote with the Democrats and the RINO Establishment won’t run anybody against them? In other words, did the leadership orchestrate this?
Regardless, we have lots of RINOs to primary. We need to keep purging and purging and purging every election to get enough of the RINOs out. We don’t need to actually get them all. We just need to purge enough of them that the remaining ones are too scared to stab us in the back like these RINOs have because they know it will mean the end of their careers.

No social media
Joyce apparently is hard core RINO.
I went to the link you gave for his Twitter. Farther down he was being excoriated for voting to protect Mayorkas.
My gosh Buckeyes, vote this scum out.
Complete list would include those who didn’t show up!
And I thought the punishment for contempt of Congress was 4 months in jail
My Rep., Brian Mast/FL. was attending his father’s funeral. I won’t hold that against him. He’s a good one!

Massie was burying his wife who passed away at age 51, on like June 29th.
Apparently 17 others didn’t show up, but that could have been beczuse they were away. Luna intends to bring up the vote again next week’s or so when they are all there, so this isn’t over yet. .ets hope that th3 criticism. That the 4 feckless Republicans got will be enough for them to change their minds next time
Massie is still home mourning and taking care of his wife’s affairs and their 4 children. I think he has a good reason for not being there to vote.
