At the end, he seemed to me to have said that until he came along and ran for election Delaware never voted a majority for a Democrat candidate for President.

That woman’s name is going to become a recognizable name for a particular type of scum. Like a “Karen”. It will refer to wives or other relations who drive a disabled “loved one” on, caring only so long as they serve their needs and ambitions. Lady Macbeth was a “Dr. Jill”.
I’d say he slurred his way through that press conference very well. Didn’t really stay on topic with any of the questions, could barely be understood, but there were only a few real gaffs.

I agree. Biden wasn’t good enough to allay all fears about his mental fitness. Yet he wasn’t bad enough to make it easier to push him aside.

Biden always gets the Delaware thing all mangled up—what I think he is trying to say is that he was the first US President from Delaware—which of course nobody cares about...
This is a great lesson for negotiating strategy.
