Duarte is the only one who won by a slim margin in 2022.

First off, the term Republicrat specifically and succinctly describes the GOP. Too often the “conservatives” we vote for do just the opposite of what they said they were going to do, or make taken displays of disingenuous “action” to placate their voters and avoid standing up to the Dems. They are basically enablers.

Secondly, the best political results arise from accountability. The Republicrats know they are going to get the ‘tribal’ vote no matter how many times they backstab the people who voted for them. And so nothing changes. Those who commit to strongly supporting the MAGA agenda and welcome accountability are definitely worth voting for, but those with track records of misleading voters are not IMO.

To EEE’s specific point, he raises a perfectly legitimate question: why crawl through broken glass to vote for people who don’t have much, if any, respect for the will of their voters?

Say what you will about the sleazy Dems but they fight for what they want. The R’s simply do not.

Yes.

Biden just got a judge installed because 4 R’s didn’t show up to vote yesterday, IIRC.

This needs to stop.

I’m trying to find out who didn’t show but nobody is reporting that and I don’t know what the resolution number was, to check for official stats.

"FReepers will still crawl through broken glass in November to vote Republican though."

We have to. THERE IS NO OTHER CHOICE.

There is no Democrat party. They are all literally Marxists, trying to destroy this country, and we can not afford to lose any ground to them.

We are in a war to save our country, at the ballot box.

The time to replace these people was during the primary elections.

Now we stay with them. They are who we have chosen.

But it should not be forgotten, what they, and the 12 no shows did.

They will have a chance to redeem themselves during the next Trump administration, knowing they can be primaried.

This could be beneficial in the long run.

Rep. Michael Turner (OH) has been a POS RINO traitor from my Ohio District for years. He also wants to send your sons and daughters to “gloriously” die in the Ukraine. Rot in hell Mike!!!

Not this one. I quit voting for Mike Turner from Ohio a long time ago.

Thank you! Hopefully, Crenshaw is primaried. He has been a huge disappointment. They say they will bring it up again. We will see......

That’s what the Deep State wants us to do. Just when we are about to have R committee heads who have criminal referrals ready and a Trump=appointed AG who would mean business to take down the lawless cabal that has held DC hostage... the Deep State would want us to grab defeat from the jaws of victory.

If we have to vote these turds back in, in order to allow Jim Jordan, James Comer, Barry Loudermild, and Clay Higgins to send their criminal referrals to a genuine Dept of JUSTICE, I would crawl over broken glass to do it.

I’m glad to see Mike Flood wasn’t one who screwed this one up but he’s screwed up plenty... but I will still vote for him because that’s what it takes to get the 4 above-mentioned guys in the position we need them to be in come January. If we fail to do that, all their work over the past 4 years is lost, and any hope of the country ever getting REAL answers to the 2020 election steal, the J6 Fedsurrection, the Covid plandemic, etc will be lost forever. And for this country to ever unite again and actually become America again, we desperately need the truth of those things to be revealed, and to have the country loudly say in unison “NEVER AGAIN!!!”

Stay home.

Consider this: to stay home is to not vote against a greater evil.

It is in essence, a game plan that relies on the fetal position.

Does that make sense for anyone who is exposed to the Left's agenda other than a turtle?

Such a recommendation fits nicely into primary election considerations (R v R) which precedes any November general election (R v D) but dodges the specific point in our exchange and is nonresponsive.

But I will answer your question:
why crawl through broken glass to vote for people who don’t have much, if any, respect for the will of their voters?
To keep a "Biden" supporter out of federal office, to add seats to the R chamber and to then have an opportunity to more effectively manage the wayward R.

You're just playing into their hands by participating.

No, it's a wholesale rejection, a middle finger to D.C. and their foreign bosses.

You are in the game whether you like it or not, by not making a move you have in essence surrendered.

No, it's a wholesale rejection, a middle finger to D.C. and their foreign bosses.

Flipping them the bird is childish since we/you do not have the option of rejecting them, our only move is to make our relationship with "D.C." as comfortable as possible.

You get the last word.

“but dodges the specific point in our exchange and is nonresponsive.”

**************

I don’t see how voting for an ostensible Republican who misleads voters, appeases Democrats, and dodges accountability can be perceived as a “gain”. And is it really ‘R v D’ when the R is a RINO? What’s the point of voting for anyone who doesn’t intend to fight?

Voting for (and effectively rewarding) backstabbers increases the number of your so-called “wayward R’s”, and there are already way too many of them in the GOP. I think you would even agree with that. And logic dictates that the more of them there are the harder they are to effectively manage.

You are dodging that issue my friend.
