Arctic and antarctic ice thickness is directly proportional to the amount of heat and the rate of release from the earth’s core. Climate variability is also dependent on this phenomena. Scientist have a poor understanding of just what happens and how much heat is actually released.

Who at CNN. They cannot explain the simple things like time of day, much less the geologic, hydrologic, and atmospheric sciences.
