DEI is dying because conservative activists and public interest groups are campaigning hard against it.
One deadly myth harmful to the conservative cause is that once the full weight of the establishment pushes a liberal initiative forward, it is futile to resist it.
Such fatalism is false. Plenty of well-advanced leftist initiatives have suffered crushing defeats. It is enough to recall the doomed Equal Rights Amendment, Roe v. Wade, or Common Core. All found their way to the liberal graveyard of lost causes awaiting reincarnation under other acronyms.
The Fate of DEI
The latest program to suffer the indignity of premature death is DEI. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs require that race, ethnicity, sex, and LGBTQ+ orientation be used as primary criteria to run and staff corporations, universities, and institutions.
These programs were all the rage as little as a year ago. Every corporation, university, or institution had to have its DEI officer or department that would virtue-signal compliance with mandates. Graduates specialized in DEI studies were guaranteed cushy jobs at woke firms.
Those days are now over. DEI and its nasty cousin, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance mandates), are on their way out. Massive pushback from conservative activists has all but sealed their fate.
Massive Backlash Has Results
The DEI debacle happened because people challenged the fatalist myth that resistance to such programs is futile.
DEI is dying because activists and public interest groups are campaigning hard against it. They have seen how DEI programs, with their obsessions with race, sexual orientation, and other preferences, work to the detriment of good business practices. Critics argue that DEI initiatives weaponized the workplace, creating an atmosphere of distrust and mediocrity.

THEY ARE PRETTY SLOW ON THE UPTAKE.
I mean, look at what happened to Target, the Bud Light brand of Anheuser-Busch InBev, Planet Fitness, and so on. And Paramount Global and Warner Bros. Discovery on the verge in financial insolvency and Disney heading that way. And causing troubles at Boeing (enough that Boeing could face massive lawsuits that could bankrupt the company).
Even BlackRock, Vanguard Group, Fidelity, and State Street, the largest private equity firms pushing ESG/DEI, are finding out fast they are facing major financial losses of their portfolios pushing this agenda.

We made fun of Black Studies majors. The joke was on us. These ultra grifters slotted in very nicely, into DEI slots in University administrations, into stupid wokeist major corporations. Into Federal, State and county governments.
Who knows? Some may have paid back a fraction of their student loans. How many of these DEI useless eaters got free rides at University?
Libraries are still valuable to society. Get rid of the rabid Leftist lesbian culture that dominates them everywhere (and the bizarre perverts reading to children). A security guard herding the homeless would also be a big help.
The only positive thing Dewey contributed was his decimal classification for books.

In My Little World I no longer shop at Target or Walgreens.
I’d be ok with purging our libraries of Leftists. But how does one identify who to purge? Perhaps show pictures of little boys and measure brain waves - if they go into a fit of rage, then, yea, they’re Lesbos.
LOL! Maddow haircuts, no fashion sense, aversion to makeup and bad attitudes. Science has yet to develop a Penis Envy meter. Even uglier “life partners”. Prefers Prius or hybrid vehicle. Bring kid to work day is always niece or nephew.
I was utterly appalled that DEI infected the military and the Officer schools. As a former soldier I can’t stress enough how it’s merit-based systems and competitiveness are critical to forming soldiers freed of any prejudices they may have been raised with in order to become better all around.
Diversity, Equity and “Inclusiveness” work directly opposite to those principles. I consider it the worst sort of racism.
