Former Obama administration official Van Jones said Wednesday that Democrats, behind closed doors, are discussing “how” to replace President Biden at the top of the ticket, “not whether.”
The CNN commentator said the Democrats who defend Biden on TV have “completely different” conversations in private, amid growing concern in the party about Biden’s standing as the presumptive nominee.
“I understand people want to, you know, defend him and protect him and give him the space and the dignity to make his own choice,” Jones told CNN’s Jim Sciutto Wednesday, referring to Biden.
“But there is a big conversation happening right now about how this happens – not whether,” he added.
Jones painted a chaotic picture of the Democratic party as it tries to figure out a path forward in private discussions.
“Behind the scenes, it’s full-scale panic,” Jones said. “People are passing around legal memos, PDFs are flying back and forth on WhatsApp, trying to figure out, what are the options? How can you replace Biden? How do you get him to do it in a way where he feels respected, as he should be respected?”
Jones suggested Democrats were proceeding under the assumption that Vice President Kamala Harris would be next in line for the top spot. Among the questions Democrats are trying to answer, Jones said, is, “Who should Kamala Harris’s vice president be?”
Jones praised Biden as “a great candidate” but said Democrats must be responsible in determining what the best path forward is.

They know Harris' numbers -- this doesn't add up.
Not that legality matters to these people, but that is obviously a violation of their own rules - Biden’s delegates are pledged to him, and unless he releases them, they are bound to cast votes for him at the convention.
These delegates were also elected by the votes of the people according to procedure...so they are going to “defend democracy” by having autocrats at the DNC invalidate their votes for these delegates...
I have heard other interesting theories, e.g. holding onto Biden until the last possible moment to thwart an RFK Jr take over of the party. If that were true, they'd have a plan (I assume), or perhaps they really don't and are just that terrified of an RFK Jr "infection" of Rat politics.

What the Democrats are trying to figure out is how to circumvent the constitution without SCOTUS shooting it down at the last minute. This is all a timing issue. Solution is very simple. Biden resigns, Harris becomes President going into the convention. There her VP can be announced, which should be Whitmer.
The Dems need to go to war with an all biologically female (She/Her) ticket. Win the election and then figure out what to do to have the Republicans impeach and remove Harris from office. It becomes a twofer. Dems set it up, Repubs fall into the trap, Whitmer becomes President, Harris is gone and Dems have a 2026 platform to run on.
I assure you that no one with decision making powers speaks within hundreds of yards of Van Jones. When he says Democrats, he means the people in line at the welfare office or on “The View.”

Well, it seems to me that it would be more difficult to control Kamala. FJB can be manipulated and guided because he's basically a vegetable. He doesn't know what's going on at any given point in time and so can be manipulated to do what the Deep State wants.
Kamala, on the other hand, doesn't know what she doesn't know and, as a result, firmly believes that she has a complete grasp on all of the problems facing the country. She's going to insist on not being manipulated because it would destroy her (mistaken) self-image of a strong, intelligent woman.
To a large extent, I view her as the Fredo of the Biden Crime Family. "It ain't the way I wanted it! I can handle things! I'm smart! And I deserve respect!"
For most Americans the answer lies in buying more popcorn. Observing these integrity-free, dishonest criminals squirming like maggots on rotting meat is at some pathetic level “entertaining “.

The Democrats are tearing themselves apart and it is enjoyable to watch. In a party with communist like discipline, it always amazed me how its members will sit in silence as its masters do horrendous things to this country, for years. Case in point is allowing 18 million illegals who are unhealthy, unvetted, unskilled, uneducated, and unvaxxed to storm the land and become wards of the state, as either convicts or welfare recipients while enriching the Cartels to monstrous levels. None speak to it as the crime that it is, as Joe Biden did not defend it at the debate, they won’t even address it, while the rest of nation is appalled and demands action. It is a remarkable iron bound discipline, yet easy if one values power over the well being of the nation.
Now their world is unhinged, the pravda-like media is in full revolt of their leader (after years of deceptive gaslighting) and their party has put themselves in impossible positions. Much of their problem stems from back room deep state machinations of selecting leaders, and their dead set hypocritical orthodoxy from not allowing the actual people to decide. If they let the people vote on their candidates they would not have this brewing civil war.
Yet it is obvious that they manipulate around that because they know most of their candidates are leftist psychos who would not get two feet in an election, so they must scheme. Frankly Joe should have run in 2016, and likely would have done better than Hillary but Obama told him to sit it out. Then Hillary slept through the campaign and Trump pulled it out, getting an incredible 3 judges on the Supreme Court. That action saved a lot that was good for America. Biden could have been finishing up two terms right now and they would have had 4 Katangi Brown Jackson’s on the Supreme Court and America would be on life support heading for certain death. God works in mysterious ways.
So they have broken ranks and there is a live brawl in the monkey house. It is their own doing, from identity politics to dividing the nation by race, to a gaslighting subservient media, to a Kangaroo justice system hunting political opponents on bogus crimes. They have deformed America into a world of Stalin, Orwell and Kafka and the truth is finally be wrestled into the open. Let the people decide.
