Woke is not what it used to be. For some years, the term was used to describe those who are sensitive and involved in the struggle against social injustice, especially in U.S. politics, but also in the politics of other countries following suit perhaps to a lesser degree. Woke was a label proudly worn by activists in pursuit of social and climate justice: from Black Lives Matter to the #MeToo movement and the fight against global warming. Woke seemed to advocate a new era of equality and justice.

Woke is a religion, minus the forgiveness, grace, mercy, love, wisdom, patience or hope.
Living a personal woke lifestyle is one thing. Forcing the agenda on others, with the stance that anyone not 100% woke is racist, homophobic, transphobic, climate change denier, and a right-wing extremist, is a whole different matter. A lot of Americans have tired of the latter.
Woke is the rally call to Soros Summer Camp. But parents aren’t loving the overgrown basement dwellers anymore Sept-June. Too Bad so sad get a job.

When someone says words like equality, equity, justice and social justice you know they want to steal your stuff and then kill you.

“Woke” should be adopted to mean pig-headed about things that just ain’t so.
They forgot all about political correctness censorship, which has been with us since the late eighties, the true worst thing the baby boomers wrought. They were between 25 and 43 when they enacted that madness. Woke didn’t originate by itself. It’s the second generation.
