A top donor to Joe Biden has slammed three of the president's most trusted aides after the president's horror show at the first debate in Atlanta Thursday night.
Tens of millions of Americans saw Biden look weak and raspy on stage at the event with Donald Trump.
The Biden family gathered at Camp David this weekend for a summit to discuss their patriarch's political future as he slides further away in the polls.
While the family remains united in its 'unequivocal support' for the president - and with troubled son Hunter most insistent he remain in the race - others are wondering about the team that prepared Biden for the debate.
Another person critical of some of Biden's trusted aides is John Morgan, a top Democratic donor and ally of Biden's younger brother, Frank.
Morgan called out whom he felt were 'grifters' like former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, White House senior adviser Anita Dunn and Biden's personal attorney, Bob Bauer, who is Dunn's husband.
'Biden's advisers failed him,' he wrote on social media, referring to how Team Biden picked the debate format.
'Format was a disaster for him and a plus for Trump. He over practiced and was drained… who wouldn't be,' he added.
He then specifically called out Dunn and Bauer for leading the president astray.
'Biden has for too long been fooled by the value of Anita Dunn and her husband. They need to go… TODAY. The grifting is gross. It was political malpractice.'
In an interview with the New York Times asking him for clarification, Morgan did not mince words.
'It would be like if you took a prizefighter who was going to have a title fight and put him in a sauna for 15 hours then said, 'Go fight,' he said.

John Morgan, you are an absolute moron if you didn’t notice Biden was demented way before 2020.
That’s a new excuse… He practiced for the debate and was tired. They literally set the debate up to give him an advantage, microphones, muted, no audience, specific times for each question, etc. And even then he still couldn’t manage to be remotely cognizant.
I wonder how the debate preppers (whoever they were) didn’t have a clue this could go sideways ?
There doesn’t seem to be anyway he got through the prep without tripping on things\stuttering and forgetting what he was being fed.
Exactly. If it was Trump and quite literally any other Democrat candidate, having the right plan in preparation in place could easily swing the debate either way. However, as you said what we saw had nothing to do with if he had 1 days of rehearsal/prep or eight days. It was the tail sign that whatever drug cocktail, medication, therapy, etc. They have been using to keep him remotely. Cognizant is no longer working unless it is in a highly scripted environment.
I was pleased to see Trump so restrained during the debate, but I do think it was a calculated plan to just "let Joe be Joe" and become his own worst enemy. Trump was wise to sit back and only speak when it was his turn.
I doubt that Trump would have been as passive if another person were debating him that night, so people shouldn't assume that they would have gotten the Biden "Trump." They would have gotten the "Let Trump be Trump" Trump.

If Biden steps down, whoever the replacement is has to be attacked by every Republican in Congress on every TV appearance as being proof that the Democrat party really doesn't care about "voters" or "disenfranchised" or "every vote must count," because they lied to our faces every day for four years about the health of Joe Biden just to keep their own elite positions of power.
That has to be the message that is sent to the voters from now until Election Day.
How can you trust the Democrat Party now after what they did to steal your vote from you?-PJWouldn't you have preferred to make the informed choice of [fill in the blank candidate] during the primary when you voted? Can't you see how little your party leaders thought of you when they ran Biden for a second term instead of the person they're asking you to support now?
How can you let them do that to you again?
And thanks to CNN because of their stupid rules. Oh, and there's no audience. So that helped Trump because he did not feel like he had to prove the audience anything.
I wonder if a covfefe would revive Biden, possibly a meet and greet at the border where it’s about 115 degrees.
The Republican guest mentioned all the concerns that we had about the ability of CNN to moderate a debate but said he was surprised about how "perfect" it was and that he had no complaints.
Kurtz set up the question to Marshall about how it was the job of the candidates to "fact check" each other and the moderators should stay out of the way. If one candidate wasn't up to the task of countering the other, that's not the fault of the moderators. Marshall said that she completely disagreed with that and felt that it is absolutely the job of a moderator to step in if a candidate is saying incorrect or misleading things.
I've been reposting my analysis of the Nixon-Kennedy debates, and one thing stands out: up until the 1996 debates, the network broadcasting the debate had the host limited to moderating the debate, that is, timekeeping and enforcing the rules. A separate panel of questioners were from mixed media, including the competing networks and print and wire journalists. Beginning with the 1996 debates (the Clinton-Dole debates), the only people questioning the candidates were from the network hosting the debates.
I've argued that it's too much for one (or two) to do: moderate the timekeeping and rules, asking the questions, listening to the answers, following up with other questions. To add fact-checking and interrupting the flow of the debate on top of that crosses a line.
I guess liberals are only happy when everything is a three-on-one confrontation.

The anger among Democrats was made evident on Sunday when John Morgan, a top Democratic donor, publicly blamed the advisers who managed the president’s debate preparations, citing by name Ron Klain, Anita Dunn and Dunn’s husband, Bob Bauer.
“Biden has for too long been fooled by the value of Anita Dunn and her husband,” Mr. Morgan wrote on social media. “They need to go … TODAY. The grifting is gross. It was political malpractice.”
He elaborated in a subsequent interview. “It would be like if you took a prizefighter who was going to have a title fight and put him in a sauna for 15 hours then said, ‘Go fight,’” he said. “I believe that the debate is solely on Ron Klain, Bob Bauer and Anita Dunn.”
Members of Mr. Biden’s family were likewise said to be focused on the president’s staff, including Ms. Dunn, a White House senior adviser, and her husband, Mr. Bauer, the president’s personal attorney, who played Mr. Trump during debate rehearsals.
They were asking why Mr. Klain, the former White House chief of staff who ran the preparations, would in their view allow him to be overloaded with statistics, and they were angry that Mr. Biden, who arrived for the debate in Atlanta with a summer tan, was made up to look pale and pallid, said one of the people, who has been in touch with several members of the family.
But the person said that the president himself was not among those who were upset and that he still trusted Mr. Klain, Ms. Dunn, Mr. Bauer and the others. Other Democrats said it was unfair to blame the staff for the president’s own failings, dismissing what they called typical second-guessing and scapegoating.
A couple of Democrats pointed out that family members did not attend the preparation sessions.
In the days since the debate, Mr. Biden has privately and publicly acknowledged that he did not do well, and he has been calling trusted advisers like Mr. Klain; Ted Kaufman, his longtime aide and friend; and Jon Meacham, the historian and informal adviser; as well as key donors and party figures.

Anita Dunn, a self-proclaimed Marxist/Communist, was an advisor to Mullah Obamatollah.
What caused CNN to be relatively fair in the debate?
To quote OwlGore, "a leopard doesn't change its' stripes"
WIKI-—During the 2012 Obama campaign, Anita Dunn helped Obama prepare for his debates. When Journalist Lee Fang asked Dunn if she felt it was “disingenuous” to advise Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign “while simultaneously being paid by a lot of corporations to lobby against his reforms”
Dunn said in her response, “I work with some corporations because the fact of the matter is we’re in a democracy and there’s a dialogue and people have a right to be heard. And the fact of the matter is that most of the time when I work with people, they have a story to be told and we tell it.”
Ahead of reporting in The New York Times about Harvey Weinstein’s alleged sexual abuse, Weinstein reached out to Dunn for public relations advice.
Dunn was hired as a senior advisor to Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign in 2019 to assist with communications strategy. She first met Biden in the 1980s during her time as the communications director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and they reconnected in 2008 when Biden was named as Obama’s running mate. After Biden’s disappointing fourth-place finish in the 2020 Iowa Democratic caucuses, Dunn was elevated to a more senior position managing overall campaign strategy, personnel, and finances.
On September 5, 2020, Dunn was announced to be a co-chair of the Biden-Harris Transition Team, which planned the presidential transition of Joe Biden.[43][44] After Biden’s victory in the general election, The Atlantic reported that Dunn was “the only person in modern presidential politics who has been in the inner circle of two winning candidates—first Barack Obama’s and now Biden’s.”[5]
On January 15, 2021, it was announced that Dunn would serve as a senior advisor to the president of the United States in the Biden administration. Dunn works alongside fellow senior advisors Mike Donilon and Cedric Richmond.
Dunn is married to Robert Bauer, former partner at Perkins Coie and former personal counsel to President Obama and the White House Counsel. The couple has two children. In 2008, Newsweek named Dunn and Bauer the new “power couple” in Washington, D.C.
>> “Soft coup” theory. Many of Biden’s handlers used to work for Obama. They knew that Biden was not going to quit being president after four years. So they moved up the debate to June. And set him up to fail.
The flaw in your theory is that Obama and his minions *like* having pliable Joe Biden as the puppet. Why would they risk losing their control by ousting Slow Joe?
I think it has several moving parts:
That last point may have actually been Biden's undoing. By conjoining CNN's need to be seen by the widest audience possible in order to showcase their new commitment to being "fair and balanced" with Biden's need to be seen as better than President Trump, both greatly miscalculated the impacts of their needs and resulting decisions.
CNN succeeded in meeting theirs, Biden failed at meeting his.
The Biden team failed to realize how CNN was going to use the Trump-Biden debate as a marketing tool to maximize total global viewership of the new and improved CNN product. What they got was a maximized total global viewership of the degraded and lied-about Democrat/Biden brand product.

They knew he was a mental mess. They have to get rid of him.
“Format was a disaster for him and a plus for Trump. He over practiced and was drained… who wouldn’t be,’ Morgan added.
What a bunch of crap. But that should be expected from this Ambulance chasing $#!&. Yeah, John Morgan, of Morgan and Morgan, the clown that bombards our TV’s with his Ambulance chasing firms commercials daily.
Anita Dunn...
There is a name from the Clinton inner circle.
Makes you wonder if she is really a spy for the Clintons.
“The flaw in your theory is that Obama and his minions *like* having pliable Joe Biden as the puppet. Why would they risk losing their control by ousting Slow Joe?”
Maybe because Guido Obama will control whatever Rat is on the Whitehouse. Might as well have a new puppet that can string two sentences together without a teleprompter.
