A top donor to Joe Biden has slammed three of the president's most trusted aides after the president's horror show at the first debate in Atlanta Thursday night.
Tens of millions of Americans saw Biden look weak and raspy on stage at the event with Donald Trump.
The Biden family gathered at Camp David this weekend for a summit to discuss their patriarch's political future as he slides further away in the polls.
While the family remains united in its 'unequivocal support' for the president - and with troubled son Hunter most insistent he remain in the race - others are wondering about the team that prepared Biden for the debate.
Another person critical of some of Biden's trusted aides is John Morgan, a top Democratic donor and ally of Biden's younger brother, Frank.
Morgan called out whom he felt were 'grifters' like former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, White House senior adviser Anita Dunn and Biden's personal attorney, Bob Bauer, who is Dunn's husband.
'Biden's advisers failed him,' he wrote on social media, referring to how Team Biden picked the debate format.
'Format was a disaster for him and a plus for Trump. He over practiced and was drained… who wouldn't be,' he added.
He then specifically called out Dunn and Bauer for leading the president astray.
'Biden has for too long been fooled by the value of Anita Dunn and her husband. They need to go… TODAY. The grifting is gross. It was political malpractice.'
In an interview with the New York Times asking him for clarification, Morgan did not mince words.
'It would be like if you took a prizefighter who was going to have a title fight and put him in a sauna for 15 hours then said, 'Go fight,' he said.

I'm glad they've isolated the source of the problem.
That's just too rich. Morgan doesn't know who the REAL grifters are? The whole world knows about the Biden Crime Family and their selling out of the USA for their personal enrichment.

It is quite something that these donors could have watched his performance and still rationalize it as not being what it was, believing instead it was someone else’s fault, not Joe’s condition. That is a level of denial that would impress a psychiatrist.

Apparently, Gavin Newsom said no.
The prep can make a difference in a close debate between two pros running for the presidency but nothing can make a president turn into what we saw that night, except for the actual medical condition that causes what we saw that night, and it matched exactly what we have been seeing and knowing, and watching video of, for years.
This wasn’t new, it was the same thing we have been seeing for years.
So then, Joe is not to blame for his poor performance. Instead his handlers are to blame for supposedly not preparing him properly. Hunkering down for a week in preparing just wasn’t adequate. Ok, got it.
Barry and Mike will not like Biden going after they guys.
This jerk is blaming other people for Joe’s poor performance in a debate. Whose fault is it for all his other gaffes, mumblings, incomprehensible sentences, and trips and falls?

"Soft coup" theory. Many of Biden's handlers used to work for Obama. They knew that Biden was not going to quit being president after four years. So they moved up the debate to June. And set him up to fail.
