I've heard that sundowning may happen with dementia. What is sundowning and how is it treated? Sundowning can cause various behaviors, such as confusion, anxiety, aggression or ignoring directions. Sundowning also can lead to pacing or wandering.
Sundowning isn't a disease. It's a group of symptoms that occurs at a specific time of the day. These symptoms may affect people with Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia. The exact cause of sundowning is not known.
Factors that may worsen late-day confusion Fatigue. Spending a day in a place that's not familiar. Low lighting. Increased shadows. Disruption of the body's "internal clock." Trouble separating reality from dreams. Being hungry or thirsty. Presence of an infection, such as a urinary tract infection. Being bored or in pain. Depression.

Steve Bannon said that it is a soft Coup by the Democrat Donor Group because they realize that Biden cannot win. They have $ 2 billion ready to put in this election, and it won’t be for Biden. Why would the DNC arrange for Biden to debate after 8:00 pm when they know he is sundowning?
I was stunned at the reaction of the talking heads on cable TV news channels to that debate.
Almost in unison , the commentators on these programs were saying that Biden is in bad shape and he should pull out.
It’s enough to make you believe the talking points are distributed to these Talking Heads on cable TV news channels.
Yep, as soon as the sun goes down, (hence “sundowning”) that’s when all the chaos happens. Been there, done that with my mother when she had dementia. It is not pretty and Jill should be ashamed of herself for letting this go on. I’m no fan of cadaver joe, however, this is cruel and it’s elder abuse. Imagine, just imagine if Trump was acting like this, imagine the outrage, every liberal would be screaming for him to be removed from office and they’d be screaming at Melania. SMH.
My Dad was suffering from Sundowning near the end. He would get agitated, and angry. Sadly, my Dad was a Trump supporter, but will be voting Biden now.
The first basement campaign was in 2019, remember he couldn’t get the Biden website correct? Biden30330 or something like that. He also said he spoke to Margaret Thatcher in 2019, six years after her death.
This means Biden is in the advanced stages of Dementia.
The stories where he’s provably not there in historic moments and he claims otherwise, fit right in with advanced Dementia.
Biden was continually associated with sundowning before the 2020 campaign, a concern that was exacerbated by the continual call for “lids” on his activities at that time.
What will be interesting is how badly he deteriorates between now and October - or now and whenever he’s pushed aside - or now and when he unexpectedly happens to pass away.
No matter the reason for sundowning, a person experiencing it shouldn’t be president.
If Biden runs and wins, he will step aside and Harris takes over. She then runs as the incumbent in 2028. I think Biden will stick it out. Donors pump millions into his campaign after the Debate, they do not seem concerned.
Biden’s debate performance reminded me so much of my mom in her final months. She’d be pretty good during the day, and then at night she’d struggle with her memory and have trouble forming sentences. If Biden were a decent human being, I could possibly muster some sympathy for him.

Yeah they’ve been lying to The American people for years. They knew exactly what they were getting when they stole the 2020 election… They’re not shocked that Biden and the DNC showed his dementia to the world, they’re shocked that you noticed it
You need to put the word unexpectedly in quotation marks
He’s being used completely and has zero clue where he’s at at any given time. I saw my father-in-law on that debate stage. He had Parkinson’s first and then dementia set in. The open mouth, stiff movement, freezing, weird hand placement and loss of words that made no sense. It’s a very cruel end.
Joe has always been evil, vindictive, racist and nasty. He and the whole family deserve no quarter… They’re all the same, just like the DNC in general
Or maybe the Bidens are just racist and they don’t want a black woman to benefit from Joe’s problem.
I believe sundown for Joe starts closer to 8am.
In this case the talking heads cited their sources—Democratic operatives who were texting them on their phones in real time.
We could reasonably debate whether those operatives knew in advance that Biden would crash and burn.
I believe the answer is “no”—but additional evidence may show otherwise.
This is why they kept him under wraps for a week. They were trying to shift is circadian rhythm to make his more cogent at 9 PM. They failed. What they did is exhaust him.
