He will quit for a reason other than dementia. The point is with the Hur tapes and now the debate I could see a legal argument being made that a self pardon from a President who clearly has dementia, means the President lacks the capacity to give such a pardon . I don't think the Supreme Court will allow an overturn of a pardon but you still would have to pay a lot of legal bills to get to the Supreme Court. If the next President (likely Kamala) agrees to redo the pardons then it would be impossible to bring a legal case against Biden.
If Biden stays in the race and loses, the money he will get for a Presidential library will be a fraction of what he would get if he completed 2 terms. Same for a book deal. FLOTUS calculus has to be grab as much money now and have Joe resign. 2 billion library fund is a lot of salaries for Biden family members and she can live very comfortably on a 100 million book deal.
Buying books is a second hand way of taking bribes. If the books were actually printed THEN dumped on the secondary market even the stupid, gullible, corrupt idiots at the New York Times and Washington Post would figure out the scam.
They would know the books weren’t being sold - but they were being ‘bought’. Pay a little extra and the dude with Chinese ‘intelligence’ can buy a million books AND NOT have to have them sent to his home. The publisher can just ‘not print’ that order.

I went and looked it up...construction started. Grand opening talked about for summer 2026. Seems like various groups opposed the park area being ‘seized’ by the city and turned into library/office space. Mayor had to drag the project to acceptance.
