Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) said Wednesday he would be disappointed if the presumptive GOP nominee doesn't select him as his running mate.
Why it matters: Vance reportedly teeters between the top two spots on former President Trump's VP shortlist and has been intensely lobbying donors for the former commander in chief's re-election campaign.
What they're saying: "I'm human, right?" Vance said in an interview that Fox News aired Wednesday. "And so, when you know this thing is a possibility, if it doesn't happen, there is certainly going to be a little bit of disappointment."

They NEVER bury the hatchet. They just temporarily claim they have for show. They are all still Never Trumpers, they are just temporarily wearing a coat of a different color because it gives them a good look for the folks back home.

Point taken. But they’ve laid down their arms for now, probably over some back room deals that have already been struck. We’re just in the audience, for the most part. But maybe the audience has become so one sided that the latest script is being written to placate them, for now.
Well I’m going to have to give you credit for understanding the reality it is a script. For a minute there I thought you might have a paint brush in your hand helping paint over spots. :)

Yeah, unfortunately I’m not expecting much to change after this election. Either we get Biden again, or we get Trump, who is just promising to deport people again just like he promised last time. Status quo, either way probably. All this rooting and rousing is to just give us the illusion things might change. But it’ll be more debt, more gay marriage, and more poison in our GMO foods and medicines for everyone no matter what. Those aren’t even issues for either campaigns, even though those are the things truly destroying the live of Americans. But hey look, another rally!
I see the writing on the wall too. Even if he wins they are going to wash off the paint and both sides will hamstring him so that he won’t be able to do one thing he would like to do. They are going to rip him to chunks and eat him. So folks might want to prepare accordingly.
