If I Were Trump
This debate will have an entirely predictable pattern: Trump will disagree on matters of fact with Biden. It doesn’t really matter who is questioned first. Biden will come out with, “That’s a LIE.” CNN will back him up. That’s when he springs the trap. The first thing Donald Trump should say in the debate is that there will be disagreements on matters of fact in this debate. Therefore, his web site will post every contention made in the debate and back them up with references, to include:
Biden may do the same thing, which is fine. Once the public starts to question Democrat bull$hit, everything will make sense. It's a huge opportunity.
Trump should talk about what he is for and not attack Biden. About the conviction he should simply say he was vetted and found competent to stand trial.
Everything he says will be taken as an attack. He should stay calm and rational. That's the best he can do. Knowing he has backup for what he's saying is the best debate prep.
For sure, Biden has been practicing to say “that’s a lie”
with as much authority as he can muster in his mental state.
Biden won’t be able to respond to anything in a coherent manner... he’ll be regurgitating the talking points he’s memorizing.
You betcha. And the reply should include, "Go to my web site and check." The Slave Party has scads of "fact checkers." Not to go into this with a strong repost prepared would be suicide. This way he can have that bed of nails ready to go.
That’s a good plan. Hope Trump does something to this effect. My big concern about Trump is him getting riled up and emotional. He’s got plenty to be angry about (all Americans do) about what Biden and his party have done to America. But Trump needs to stay calm and focus on Biden’s horrible record and point what he will do to help our nation. The key point should be that Biden has utterly failed to protect the territory of the USA and its citizens. Trump should mention the names of those killed by illegal aliens under Biden’s watch.
I wouldn't count on that. Drus will be involved. Biden has a spent a lifetime playing "Gotcha!" Look at what he did to Robert Bork.
Nobody should quote factual material in any debate with Joe Biden, he will just claim it is a lie anyway. Just lure Joe into making some kind of definitive statement regarding the way he thinks things ought to be, then inquire of Joe just how he means to make this future happen. As he puts forth his proposals, keep encouraging him by saying “You may be right.” The idea is never to get confrontational, but let him ramble on, entangling himself in his own narrative.
At some point in the explanation, Joe will just come apart and go splatt right there on stage. At that point, Trump may say, “Joe, Joe, are you all right?” in the most solicitous manner possible.
Just give Joe enough rope, and he will hang himself.
Yup. Knowing that he has backup is the way to stay cool. It removes the need for extraneous emphasis.
Trump should not attack Biden. Biden is rigorously
training as we type, downright anxious to be a “victim.”
About the conviction Trump should simply say (a) he was

Getting Brandon flustered is the key. That should be done right off the bat.
Mr. "Unity" has always been a political brawler incapable of supporting his positions. It's a good thing to make it obvious.
If you go back and watch Biden’s past debates you see that he is the worlds best horrible debater.
He is not very bright, he’s lazy and cannot think on his feet and he has poor command of the facts.
So the guy just lies and turns every question into a chaotic fur ball.
He really tore Paul Ryan apart with this strategy and Ryan was at a loss for what to do.
It was like the Joker from Batman just got nominated to the VP . I thought Biden’s performance would turn voters off but they seemed to eat it up.
It will be interesting to see how he does in this debate.
I would like to see Trump ask Biden to recant his assertion made 4 years ago on a similar debate stage about Hunter’s laptop, which Biden said was “garbage” and Russian information, now that its authenticity has been independently verified by numerous news organizations, including WaPo and the NYT, and has been used by Biden’s OWN DOJ as evidence in successfully prosecuting Hunter on the gun charges.
As Biden puts forth his proposals, Trump should keep encouraging him by saying “You may be right.”
Trump should also put in a “good word” for Hunter.
I sure it will be a slurred “Thassalah!”. It’s on my Biden Bingo card already.
Biden was, is, and has always been a consummate actor.
He believes nothing of what he says.
All of it is to solidify his own personal aggrandizement.
I don’t know what you expect that Trump would say about J6. If they bring it up, he shouldn’t get into conspiracy theories.
All Trump has to say about J6 is that
1) The only felony the vast majority were charged with was misapplied and will probably be thrown out by the Supreme Court. Other than that, most were only charged with trespassing - a misdemeanor. A tiny minority did something violent.
2) Zero police officers were killed by Trump supporters. The fake news media says they killed five officers. One was erroneously reported to have been hit in the head (by an anonymous source in a NY Times story). He died of a stroke that evening after texting a friend. The other four deaths were suicides at various times.
He could make other points like the media and Democrats calling it an “insurrection” is ridiculous, but I think he should limit it to those two.
