Yup, wife and son went to Philly for his basketball tournament and promptly had window smashed and contents stolen. So glad I live where we have more guns than people. Funny how that works.
Yup—proof that the best “education” is free of charge.
They now understand Oakland, CA in a way no university would have taught them.
Let alone sending them across the country.
Indeed every state has a school that teaches anarchy.
And don’t send your kid to an IN N OUT Burger in Oakland because they closed it due to crime. The ONLY IN OUT burger location that has ever been closed in their almost 80 year history......quite an achievement by Oakland town if you ask me.

I had narrowed my choices to UCLA and Gonzaga. Looking back, going to GU was the correct choice. I left CA after HS graduation, another good decision.
I was in the North Bay for 29 years, and I never heard of it either.
I was just in oakland to pick up a family member from the airport.
We stopped off to see a friend of hers before we left the bay area and we took everything out of the car and we left the windows down so the theives wouldn’t break the widows. That place is worse than anything i remember from growing up here in Northern CA. I use to go to A’s games all the time with frieneds and family. I didn’t think oakland could get worse.

The parents are truly idiots! Only democrats can be that stupid. Californians are fleeing in droves for Florida among other states, but yet these turd brains decide to send their kid to one of the worst shithole cities in California!
And Florida family receives valuable education while dropping son off at college.
To be fair.... MAYBE it was the only place to get the degree the son wanted. I only had two schools to chose from for my degree in engineering. Ended up at Fresno.
But then again, it is California. Ookland even. Probably some social justice degree.
They should have used the trick of having a “house sitter”.
Especially important during events like weddings and funerals, where notice is given ahead of time to burglars.
Oakland....a place that has lost the Raiders (Twice!), the Warriors (granted just across the bay), the Golden Seals (I know ancient history) and the soon to be departed Athletics. That’s quite a record Oakland!
