I will buy an EV when the fad is over for probably pennies on the dollar. It will be fun.

I agree with the overall sentiment of the video, which shames the left... I just question this main data point that he bases the video from. We're all better off if conservatives base our talking points on accurate data. I agree with most of the sentiment on FR, but we need to have our facts straight or the left destroys them.

EVs may work in Texas but in the Northeast the winters make them worse than useless.
Most Northeast large and medium size cities have a lot of on street parking—garages not available—so charging at home is not an option and battery freezing at night in the winter is real.
Fender benders are also a thing in these cities—and that could mean thousands of dollars of repairs in an EV.
Up here the locals will get to keep on learning—the hard way.

Here's what I posted:
And, don't just point to one or several Tesla drivers. Surveys are best when a large group is questioned, and the vehicles themselves have been observed to perform as you indicated.
You didn't respond with a suitable answer. You posted what one user claimed, and perhaps not even that claim can be verified, since, who was there besides a Tesla lover who likes Tesla and/or EVs?
I've known a few Tesa drivers who say they're never gonna buy another Tesla once theirs 'dies'. I've met a bunch of other EV (not Tesla) owners who all say they will never own another EV. I've also been to several car dealers who have inventories of new and used EVs, and they say they can't unload them, especially the used ones. I have a Lexus (2 years old, gas driven) and considered trading it in for this year's EV version, but after investigating what I would be getting for the price (much higher than the ICE version), it was a huge no-no for me.

You write as though you are talking your book—i.e., own Tesla stock?
Just a hunch....

“You didn’t respond with a suitable answer.”
My answer specifically addressed your question: “Has anybody ever driven a Tesla battery for that kind of mileage? “

I have been around here forever.
When .gov puts their thumbs on the scale my answer is “no, never”.
That is my attitude towards EVs.

No you didn't.
I specifically said not to point to just one user's experience with Tesla, One user does not equal a group, and your answer does not come even close to what a survey of "USERS" would be like.

“”The ICE cars starting in 2026 will be a spy center on wheels. The car gets to decide if you get to drive””
Kalifornia wants to mandate that all EVs have bidirectional charging. There is a Los Angeles Council member who stated something close to “we (GOVERNMENT) should be able to use all the electricity stored in all the EVs while the people are sleeping.”
So, you yourself pay for the charging, but you could wake up in the morning and, oops, no energy to get to work! The powers that be decide: To each according to their need, from each according to the ability.
Lovely, just lovely.

Equates to ONE. Does not refer to a group.

Did you bother to read the rest of my post, where I said this:

You conveniently chose a small part of my request to post what you preferred as an answer.

My next car may very well be a 60’s era Ford Falcon. I passed a young guy driving a mid-1960s Rambler on the highway yesterday. I can see a lot of old cars being kept on as second vehicles.
