A Minnesota transgender high school student had her jaw broken in two places after she used the men's bathroom.
Cobalt Sovereign, 17, says she was assaulted by a fellow student as she left the bathroom at Hopkins High School on May 30.
She said the student looked over the stall and called her a '******' and then punched her in the face as she was leaving.
Sovereign, who uses she/her pronouns, told KARE: 'I was hit in the jaw and at the time one of my teeth exploded, pieces in my mouth.'
She was rushed to hospital and had three titanium plates fitted in her jaw. The school took disciplinary action against the alleged assailant and Minnetonka police are investigating.
Sovereign said she was using the men's restroom in between classes when a fellow student peered into the stall she was in.
She told KARE: 'In the bathroom, he had looked over the stall directly where I was attempting to use the bathroom, and that is where he initially called me a ------ in the first place.'
She said she then left the stall and walked out of the bathroom, where he was waiting.
He then allegedly punched her in the face, breaking her jaw in two places and shattering a tooth.
She said: 'He had no reason to have anything against me, I've never talked to him, never done anything negative to him.
'And I was insulted and then eventually hit in the jaw.'
Sovereign was rushed to hospital where she underwent a long surgery to fit three titanium plates in her jaw.
The school has gender neutral bathrooms but they are often busy or out of the way.

“boys will be boys” applies so if you want to be one of the boys then deal with it like a man.
The school had gender neutral bathrooms he could have gone to according to the article. The whole Nex Benedict murder-that-turned-out-to-be-suicide backfired spectacularly on the left, so now they’re trying to invent a new “anti-trans hate crime” to save face. I’m not excusing what the other boys did, but how many non-trans kids get beaten up in the bathroom? And how many of them receive national press coverage?
I’m confused. Is it a biological boy or a biological girl identifying as a “transgender?”

Guys don’t usually make an effort to look over and into the other stalls to see other men in the Men’s room. I suspect that this person tried to get some action and got punched for the effort.
Charge the parents with abuse of a minor and Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy. A few convictions and this horsesh*t will stop.
I wish that the women would gang up and take out a sicko tranny male in their bathroom. A few of those incidents and the problem will clear itself.
Now with respect to the ‘girl’, perhaps just muscling her out of the john would have been sufficient.

The fake girl can now assume "Titanium" as its middle name.

I had to watch the video to figure it out.
He’s a boy trying to be a girl. He went into the boy’s bathroom so as not to upset the girls so he says. The “trans” bathroom is on the other side of the school and always in use (how many trans kids does this school have?) So now you have a kid looking like a girl going in the boys bathroom.
I am likewise perplexed!
Generally speaking, a rational person can substitute "fake" for "trans."
But why would a "fake girl" be in the boys' bathroom?

Wonder why he was not invading the girls facility as thats what he is pretending to be.
