I also saw it the first night it was in town. I think it was a Friday. I did not care for it and never saw another one. I was a college student and was looking for something more substantial. It seemed juvenile and simplistic. It didn’t help that the film broke at the very beginning when the “In a galaxy far away” text was beginning to scroll by. After a 10 minute wait there were mechanical camels on the screen. Huh? Maybe I missed 30 seconds, maybe I missed some of the background that would have made sense.
Then the Obi Wan character is dead. But he’s talking to the kid. So is he not really dead? Like ET?
I got a kind of Wizard of Oz vibe from the characters. The lion was Chewbacca, the girl was Dorothy, and the tall gay robot was the tin man.
Then it sort of turned into an outer space western shoot out.
I never did figure out why it was a “thing.”
I like Reagan’s Star Wars the best!

I am so tired of seeing little 90 pound wonders perform like 200 lb, 6’4’ hulk ninjas, rampant lesbianism/homosexuality, trans et al coupled with outright ridicule and disdain for anything “white.” It’s all just a made up culture unrealistically enhanced by social media and the ‘entertainment’ industry.
