Not sure how long I’ve been here — over 20 years, I think. The civility level has decreased. What I notice more is that there’s a less scholarly and intelligent level to posts overall. (Of course, there are glaring exceptions.)
Back when Tony Snow, Mark Levin, Barbara Olson, etc., were on FR it was more cerebral and less childish.

You do know that the Founding Fathers used to battle each other in the newspapers like rabid dogs and they won our independence, right? It has been proven for over 70 years now that GOPe squishes do not win political battles. You probably hate Trump's "demeanor too.

They would now be denigrated as establishment elites. If you're not throwing bombs and shouting down anyone who isn't 100% MAGA, you're a Democratic plant.
So...that's soon all that will be left, which is how most of them seem to want it.
