She’s beauty, and she’s grace — that’s what judges thought about an Atmore woman who they crowned Miss Alabama in the National American Miss pageant.
Sara Milliken, now known as Miss Alabama, is a 23-year-old who competed for the crown for the third time over Memorial Day weekend.

Single-handedly bankrupted Red Lobster
I mean, she may be a very intelligent, charismatic, and sweet person with the leadership skills of Patton, but she is obviously not healthy. If they’re going to drop all physical standards for “beauty contests” why bother having them at all?
She should be crowned “Miss Ednomeals.”
Were the judges going by the size of the goiter?
Still not good. First time 2 women were crowned.
“Inside of me there’s a healthy, skinny woman, just screaming to get out.”
“Just the one, dear?”
Maybe the judges were even fatter than she was...
Lol.
Not the Miss Alabama for the Miss America Pageant.
Your kind and understanding comment shows that you have not lost the grace that contributed to your win years ago. Brava!
I cannot comprehend the mindset in which this young lady wins a beauty contest, but like you, I commend her for her courage, and congratulate her on her success. I pray that she is able to lose some weight and improve her likely compromised health. Perhaps the rigors of a year of representing her state will give her that opportunity.
Again, thank you for your excellent comment.
Maybe in December when I retire. Then I won’t care about anonymity.
Is that the behemoth that ate Miss Alabama?
CC
If you pinch her, she will growl: Roll Tide.
But she is an expert on her medical conditions because like most obese people she is in the doctors office more times a year than they exercise.
Was this at the cattle auction?🤨
THANK YOU.
And, wow! My sister competed in beauty pageants and they are not the walk in the park people think they are. The Q&A part does make a difference but sounds like you had the other parts sewed up as well.
I don’t mind at all this young lady winning - she will have a platform for a year and can inspire others to excel.
If she has the qualifications, good for her.
Another pathetic pandering....
Should read “eating contest” not beauty contest.
“If she ain’t 280, she ain’t a lady.”
I really hope there was no swimsuit competition. We would run out of eye bleach.
This turned out to be a fake story that went viral.
Here's the actual 2024 Miss Alabama, Diane Westhoven.
We need better psy ops.
