First, the writer should have the knowledge and respect to spell Copeland’s first name correctly.
Second, of their five albums, Synchronicity is the weakest.

We all remember Sting and his last fight against Paul MaudDib. RIP.

After Synchronicity, the Police would have released a sixth album, but Stewart Copeland broke his collar bone playing polo a few days before the studio sessions.

As long as there aren’t any other Andy Summers compositions like “Mother” on it.

I didn't like it at first, but I eventually liked that song. Summers definitely has the best sense of humor of the band. But the worst ones on that album are O My God, Walking in Your Footsteps, the latter is definitely there 2nd worst song after Born in the 50s, and the former is their 3rd worst, or so.

That’s assuming they actually got some songs written and they didn’t kill each other. Neither were safe assumptions.

The songs were mostly written by Sting, ready to go. But yeah, they probably would have killed each other.

...pre-1984 tour run through their set. The Police were white hot. Holy crap! I enjoy listening to the Police -- a lot -- but I've never heard them like this. Absolutely incendiary. Thank you SO MUCH for posting this.

I saw Police / Joan Jett / R.E.M. at Shea Stadium on Aug 18, 1983. Incredible show, despite the bizarre grouping of artists. Copeland was insane that day and did like 3 drum solos. Amazing show.

I like Synchronicity II. Best song on the album

Not a great fan, but like the following....
Spirits in the material world, When the world is running down, Driven to tears, Don’t stand so close....
Should probably give the other songs a listen or two..

What next?
Maybe the Definitive 100 Album Jimi Hendrix bootlegs remastered ?
I knew a guy back in the 80s who had at least that many originals.

I actually like Copeland’s songs, especially “On Any Other Day” from Regatta Du Blanc.
