President Donald Trump is set to be sentenced on July 11, four days before the GOP convention, and there's every indication that crooked Judge Merchan will impose jail time, as much as one year.
Why not declare Trump the official nominee now?
Hold a virtual nominating process with the chairman of each state delegation, then follow up in Milwaukee on July 15th for a ceremonial celebration.
Why wait?
Should have a national Trump day, work stoppage strike should they try and put him behind bars. A peaceful work stoppage.

The Demos, by creating the “felon” label, have made this personal. The gloves need to come off. This needs to become a close-order knife fight — ‘cause the US is worth fighting for.

If we’re going to have a country left, it’s time for the GOP to go scorched-earth on the dems, using the same tactics. Investigations, subpoenas, indictments, and trials for high- and low-level people involved at all levels of this travesty of justice. Lean hard on low-level staffers to get them to sing.

There was a congressman (TX, I believe) who was on Maria’s business show the morning following the conviction. He was suggesting this and I think he planned to pursue. Maria was excited about the idea.

There are no parties. That’s as phony as the idea that there is Liberty and “the consent of the governed” in America.
There is the American elite political class and there are the masses. The political class wants to rule unchallenged forever. And they will do anything to make that happen.
The GOP needs to unify behind Trump, and call for a general strike on the day of his sentencing. Shut the Country down!
More to the point, they, those Republicans like mike johnson, need to be warned of the consequences so that on the day they are called to account for it, someone can replay it for them and show them their own selves being warned about it, and then their complicity in it, and say "You were in fact warned about the outcome of this, weren't you?"
He will be sentenced anyway.
