My car, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing did 24.7 seconds. I have never had mine over 150 mph, I swear.

Getting to 150 is only half the problem...

Fred Marriott got there in the Stanley "Rocket" in 1907 in about 28 seconds: He hit zero mph in about 2 seconds:

So I guess he's right there with the Bentley and Darkhorse Mustang, only 117 years earlier.

The real ones were either 289 or 427 Fords.
And I’m an old big block Chevy street racer.

My S1000RR will hit 150 in 10.7 seconds. I have the time slip from the drag strip to prove it. I suck at launching from a stop though, so it could probably be done quicker

As far as hauling it back down from 150, I really don't know. At Road America, coming into 5 I'm braking hard enough to float the back tire from about 170 to 50 or so, but I'm not sure how long it's taking. I'm more focused on setting up for the corner.

Cadillac CT-5-V Blackwing 1/4 mile 11.4 sec, 128 mph. Probably a small bit faster than a 427 Cobra 0-100 10.0 sec.

With modern tires I wonder what the 427 Cobra could do.

I don’t think bias-ply drag slicks have changed that much. There are radial drag slicks now, but aren’t necessarily quicker.
Not sure what type of tires were used in the 427.
