A Frontier Airlines passenger forced an entire flight to deboard after she refused to comply with exit row instructions.
Video of the incident posted to social media shows the unidentified woman visibly angry with airline employees as fellow passengers pleaded with her to get off the plane.

It's fairly simple, and a simple "Yes" is sufficient answer. If you answer "No" the FA will have no trouble finding someone willing to trade seats with you.
See what I’ve been missing
It probably didn’t help that the woman said that she wasn’t going to help anyone get off the plane, that she was going to save herself.
She said she wouldn’t help anyone else out. Someone heard and reported her. She could have kept her mouth shut at the start or moved to another seat after confronted but no.
“ Two people this week think they are more important than everyone else. The golf guy and now this lady.”
I think Scottie has already paid off the appropriate people and will fly free
Yes, they are. However Frontier Airlines is subject to FAA rules on Exit Row passengers. They must agree to assist other passengers and the attendants in an emergency requiring egress through the emergency door on the row(s) where they are seated. They don’t agree- they have to get off or be reseated. Flight was fully seated, and no other available— so, the Pilot (amazingly but Federally correct) came back and asked her to leave, supporting his flight crew. And ordered cops as he did finally ask her.
Thus- requiring de boarding of the plane, when, if she had done what was asked (and she surely knew that people heard her say she was going to save herself. And also hear her call the Flight Attendant Chief “Betty White” as a white female Chief. So this was a serious needless racial attitude. Hope they tested her alcohol level. Testing her entitled level is off the charts.) Note that fellow blacks near her seat said— get off so we all don’t have to.. etc.
Really dumb person, raising her mouth and being a bigot against the Chief Attendant. You sit on that row- you bear extra responsibility in an emergency. That is Federal Law not just regulations. FReepers who flew nearly all their careers know this as concrete fact. Too bad the dumbA@@ couldn’t have just gotten off, then they all would not have had to de-plane. Annoying as hell kow towing to BS. The Attendants heard her, and what she said. She did not agree to serve. Not a good case for her to try and make.
Do i need to look?
I’m sure. Rich and celebrity will certainly get him a free ride.
I’ve heard that this is policy now when there is an unruly passenger that needs to be forcefully taken off the plane.
It stemps from the time an Asian man was dragged through the aisle.
It’s a bad look to see a passenger get dragged off.
I think you people might be in the running for one of those academic awards, sort of like the one Obama got.
Using nothing but whatever you found available between your ears (and the energy sparked by your tantrums) you derived that the behavior of a specific protein is an independent cause of behavioral problems!
Melanin forced everyone to deboard the plane!
Flying ... the new Greyhound.
That's the part I don't understand. The cops could just come on board the aircraft, remove the loudmouth criminal, and send everyone else on their way.
That's a matter of opinion.
“Get in their face”...Barack Obama
Also you can’t sit there if you require or request a seatbelt extension. IIRC
Your comment is not REASONable.
I said nothing about “he behavior of a specific protein is an independent cause of behavioral problems”. Nor did I imply it. You have slandered me.
I observed a correlation. Continued observation has shown that the correlation is quite strong. I know that it is politically incorrect to recognize that said correlation exists. Political correctness be damned to hell ... truth is truth, and anybody who opposes the recognition of truth is of the devil.
I played “Guess the Race” as soon as I read the headline.
Right again!
Easy peasy!
I’m more curious as to what “called her outside her name” means.
I don’t understand this either. It sounds like it means that whoever is in the exit row has to help others get off the plane if there’s trouble. This gal first said she would help herself before she helps anybody else, but then agreed verbally to the terms of the exit row instructions. So I don’t understand what the problem was. She obviously has an attitude but she also did verbally agree to the terms.
I suppose the airline might not want to risk any liability if the gal actually did look after herself first if something happened, since that was what she initially said she’d do. I can’t help but wonder why they didn’t just ask her to trade seats with somebody else.
Frontier Airline-they’re cheap. Just no carry-on($50). No frills.
How did she get assigned that seat?
