Those dumbass New Yawk “gun experts” know everything. They have figured out that a “glock” will kill you worse than any other brand of gun.
I don’t have any “glocks” but I’m sure thankful that I live in a gun sanctuary state. Just like the Dung Beetle Party, I have my own “judge”.
Why don’t they just ban “Glock switches?”
Oh wait, never mind.

Well, I feel a lot safer now. Every gang-banger in NY is going to hear this and say, “Wow, I didn’t know an illegal conversion is illegal. I better throw this out right away.” Oh, and that promise that a handgun registry would never be used for confiscation? Hard to believe that a politician would fib about such a thing...
> a bill designed to COMPLETELY ban the sale of Glock handguns and other semi-automatic pistols <
Almost every police officer and government agent now carries a semi-automatic pistol. So I guess theyโre going to have to go back to revolvers.
Or does this proposed law only apply to the peasant class?
/s
New Yorkers voted for them so they can now reap the whirlwind, good enough for them I say and yet reason 1050 to stay out of the State of New York!
We didn’t vote for this any more than the nation did.
In NY it will only be the citizens. Law Officers and Retired Law Officers will be exempt. When they became Shall Issue you should have heard the Members of those classes wailing when they realized they had to take the mandated course, but they still got exemptions for the areas no normal person is allowed to carry.
I am happy to report that I just bought a Glock 86. So lethal is this pistol that if you shoot it a a target, it will kill anyone who has ever stood where that target is. Its molecular-nuclear sights allow even beginning shooters to hit a target 600 feet away with +/- 2mm precision and prints a 1/2” grouping at 300 yards.
Equipped with a “shoulder thing that goes up” in a choice of five different sizes, it has a 950 round magazine, a clip clipper to maintain the lethality of bullet clips (available t your local gun shop), an auto seer that can predict the future, a disappearing holster that vanishes when you put it on, papier-mache construction so it cannot be detected by x-rays, CT scanners or MRI machines, a variable length flexible barrel that can shoot around corners, upstairs and through the time / space continuum, and with the Glock model “ShushGlock 263” silencer, fire ammo that can’t even be heard in an anechoic chamber. It fires bullets that disintegrate after they hit their final target so they can’t be traced, the shell casings are polished upon ejection so the shell casings can’t be traced, and is available in six different colors. Mine is the extra-scary black hue that can send a person into fits of terror that only 3 years of counseling will cure them.
The best part is that this weapon of war / weapon of mass destruction can be had for $79.95 and comes complete with four 950 round fully concealable magazines, five sizes of shoulder things that go up, a cleaning kit, a trigger lock and an attractive walnut gift case.
All these idiots know up front that this is unconstitutional and will not stand up under litigation.

I don’t like Glock anyway. /s
Saw some at the 7-11 the other day. $4.99. Not bad eh?
Disagree. They know this is patently unconstitutional. They know this would get struck down by the courts. This, plain and simple, is lawfare. They are trying to bleed manufacturers of resources and tie them up in courts.
My sister played the glock in school band. I think they called it a glockenspiel.
Seems pretty harmless - unless you maybe tried to glock someone over the head with it.
