The accused “killer” New Jersey father who forced his 6-year-old son to run on a treadmill did so because the child was “too fat” as a disturbing new video reveals the alleged child abuse.
Christopher Gregor, 31, appeared in court Tuesday to stand trial for allegedly murdering his son Corey Micciolo in 2021. He faces life in prison if convicted.
During the trial, the Superior Court in Ocean City was shown surveillance video of Gregor forcing Corey to run on a treadmill after the boy fell off multiple times due to the exercise machine’s excessive speed.
Gregor and his son were seen on March 20, 2021, entering the Atlantic Heights Clubhouse fitness center, where the boy was promptly placed on the treadmill and began running, according to video, obtained by CourtTV.com.
Footage captured Gregor walking up to the treadmill to increase the speed and raise the incline of the track.

I would gladly pull the lever on this POS..........................
I just watched the video and have a question for all you older parents out there.
What in the hell is wrong with these young parents these days??
No really~ what is wrong with them?
My stepmom knew what to do! 4 words “GO. OUTSIDE. AND. PLAY.”
She said that a lot mostly when we were getting on her nerves and acting like “wild Indians”.
That lousy rotten SOB bastard, and why didn’t the mother leave with the little boy?
Big man. Bullying a little boy. I hope the jury fries him.
Folks, he was fine from the exercise.
In the article, it says the kid died of apparent blunt trauma to the chest.
It will be hard to prove murder, when the kid survived the machine videos.
He will likely go free, unless they can determine the kid had knuckle bruises on his chest, or the like.
Manslaughter might be more appropriate.
Cute kid. The father was an idiot. Even if his kid had not died, he was creating an environment where the kid would not learn to enjoy physical fitness.
Were you ever told to “keep it down to a dull roar”?
Then when you do that, your mom thinks you are up to something.
“””What in the hell is wrong with these young parents these days??”””
There is a pandemic of bad behavior in the USA.
I recently watched YOUTUBE videos of the cops dealing with people who shoplift, drive under the influence, and squatters. It is obvious we have some very mentally ill people on our streets.
I have empathy for the cops who have to deal with this human trash every day.
Other articles provide more details.
Mom and Dad were separated and involved in a custody battle. Mom reported multiple times to CPS that her son came back home with bruises after visits with Dad. She sent emails, pictures, notices, and text messages. She petitioned for emergency full custody.
She was denied custody the day before her son died.
Mom tried to save her son. CPS and the courts failed them.
“Were you ever told to “keep it down to a dull roar”?”
I’ve heard that saying but no we were never told that as kids. Just told to go outside and play. That way we could scream, shout and let loose all the wound up energy. When I was a child there were very few fat kids. The ones that were were ones that were sick in some way and they could not help it.
It wasn’t the treadmill.
The kid was beaten to death.
Other articles detail how the mom had reported him to CPS multiple times.
Oh I’ve seen the COPS videos on youtube those are really bad.
It’s the stories like these. Parents who don’t know how to parent. First of all the child is not overweight. Second of all if the child was this is NOT how one helps the child lose weight. You all this father has the IQ of an ash tray.
There are some conditions that cause excessive intolerance, and PEM (post exertional malaise) where the body runs down very quickly, and can’t recuperate like normal healthy people can, and if pushed too far, the body goes into shut down mode, and can die.
Maybe the child was obese because he had a condition like the above. It’s not a case of “being lazy”, it’s a case of the body not operating correctly, not replacing the atp which fuels the mitochondria to keep the body functioning normally- its akin to using a near dead battery which runs out quickly, but can only recharge back to about 1/4 of full- it keeps running out and crashing- and if pushed too much, it will stop working altogether-
At any rate, even if the kid didn’t have a condition like that, the father now,has to love with the fsct that he psuehd the kid way too far.
What a beautiful child. There truly are monsters out there parading as parents. That child didn’t appear to have an ounce of fat on him. The fat is in the brain of the thing that calls itself a dad. I would hope the mother has left!!!!
“He has since turned down a 30-year plea deal “
GOOD! He should get a life sentence! NO PLEA DEAL!
“Then when you do that, your mom thinks you are up to something.”
Think about this as a parent.
The kids are in the house causing a commotion upstairs?
or
The kids quiet as a church mouse, and you know they are up there?
Yep things that unnerve you as a parent.
Did no one see this?
I would have called the cops immediately if I witnessed this.
Is this much different than a mother making her little boy wear a dress, take puberty blockers and then wonder why the malformed male with fake boobs and a dress commits suicide?
EC
That child wasn’t obese by any means.
