Giant alligator spotted in Rio Grande by border patrol.

Eagle Pass: Local resident, Luis De La Torre, came across an alligator while fishing this morning at the Rio Grande.
Previous sightings of alligators have been confirmed by Border Patrol.

When I was a youngster in the 1950s, El Paso had a park downtown with Alligators in a small enclosure. People could sit on the small wall surrounding them and watch them get fed. I went back a few years ago and they were gone. Turns out people would torture the ‘gators with sticks and rocks, so they had to be removed.

Of course! He shouldn’t have to live his life lonely...he needs friends and a lovely new mate!!!
FWiW, there’s some big ole 15-footers that hang out on the banks of Choke Canyon Reservoir near Three Rivers, TX that have been feeding on feral hogs for some time now. They’d most likely love to find new “friends”.....LOL.
