Eye-opening thoughts of Col. Doug Macgregor. Some disturbing views on Trump. It looks like Trump compromised with the Globalists/Deep State and a betrayed his base.

Who cares what thins anti-American traitor says. He’s repeatedly said completely false things to try to destroy the U.S.

MacGregor serves Putin, not Trump, not the USA. Maybe some who have been brainwashed by Russian propaganda will finally see the light.

Ukraine ping

MacGregor obviously has a distinguished military record. But his crystal ball is cloudy and yet another illustration of the Yogi Berra truism “Predictions are hard, especially about the future”. Like most people on all sides of the conflict, at the outset, he predicted a Russian victory in days or, at worst, weeks.

Instead of repeating ad nauseam Russian hopes for victory, it would be nice if he could explore the nuts and bolts of individual engagements, not as cheerleader, but as dispassionate analyst. Of course, the problem is that his pro-Ruasian audience tunes in not for edification, but for encouragement. They are looking for hosannas describing Russia’s inevitable triumph, not neutral, dry as dust enumerations of the factors that resulted in seesaw battles where the same hamlets changed hands repeatedly over the course of months, even years. So he gives them what they want, and we get these hallelujah choruses about how Russian victory is all but written in the stars.

The thing is, it NEVER mattered what MacGregor, Ritter, Tucker, or Trump said, the Russians simply WERE NOT going to lose a war on their doorstep and they were going to get as much help as needed (which isn’t much at this point) from China and North Korea, whether Biden’s supporters liked it or not.

He’s good at understanding war, war assets, and military maneuvers, but doesn’t have anything to say about the unprecedented state of corruption in the United STates government.

“the Russians simply WERE NOT going to lose a war on their doorstep”

They did in Afghanistan, when the Soviet Military was four times the size of today’s Russia, the Warsaw Pact was on their side, and the Afghans received only a small fraction of the support that Ukraine does today.

The Afghans could not touch anything in Russia, but Ukraine has struck Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan - and has three million drones in the pipeline for this year.

Russian casualties have already been several times higher than the total of their ten years in Afghanistan. Their equipment and financial losses have also been several times higher than in Afghanistan. Soviet inventories of Artillery and Armor grew over the ten years in Afghanistan, but Russia is overwhelmingly losing more equipment from their storage than they can produce. That supply is on track to be exhausted next year, at the burn rates we have seen so far.

The land area and population of Afghanistan and Ukraine are fairly similar, but the Ukrainian population and Military are dramatically more technically capable, better organized and led.

The Soviet Union was able to quickly occupy all of Afghanistan and install their own Government, but Russia has achieved much less in a much longer timeframe in Ukraine.

It actually seems unlikely that Russia can sustain current rates of combat operations in Ukraine for more than another year or two, if support for Ukraine remains at current rates.

MacGregor is a fraud and a collaborator. He’s coming out against Trump because Putin does not want Trump back in the White House.

That should tell any conservative all you need to know about this issue.

The Ukraine funding issue is really simple to understand.

The US has been propping up the Ukraine both economically and militarily because the Biden Administration wants a proxy war in Ukraine.

The Ukraine's pre war GDP was on the order of 70 billion dollars and we have been giving them direct cash payments to pay salaries for government officials, the military, their pension system and and their welfare/war relief system in addition to giving them weapons.

When this money and weapons aide dries up, the Ukraine economy will crash and their military will shut down almost immediately.

They Ukrainians are almost out of US supplied weapons and war bucks to pay Ukrainians salaries and to float the economy as well as being out of the major weapons needed to fight Russia.

The Russians are making big gains because the Ukrainians don't have weapons to fight back.

What is needed is a cease fire to end the war but Biden and his European counterparts are a bad political position.

They do not want to explain how they have weakened their military's and bankrupt their treasuries to get a worse peace settlement than they could have had in the peace agreement drafted first weeks of the conflict that they torpedoed because they wanted to fuel a proxy war in Ukraine.

In the process, they have killed hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and Russians (almost certainly over half a million and probably more - both sides are lying about their casualties) and destroyed much of the Ukraine's infrastructure while at the same time blocking any peace negotiations to obtain a cease fire and end to the conflict.

Ukraine has lost the war and we are in the end game. The funding passed by Congress will not change that - all it can do is delay the inevitable collapse.

It is an election year and the Democrats are desperate to either delay the collapse of the Ukraine that they have engineered until after the election or to figure out how to blame the Republicans for the election.

Speaker Johnson had two pretty bad options

The first is to not pass the admittedly horrendous Ukraine funding bill and watch the Ukraine collapse economically and militarily in a matter of weeks.

The second was to pass a really horrible Ukraine aid package on Democrat's terms to possibly ( but not certainly) delay the collapse of the Ukraine until after the 2024 election with hopes that Donald Trump takes office and provides the new leadership needed to enter into peace talks and end the conflict.

Both are really bad options but the aid package holds out hope for Ukraine while bolstering Taiwan's defense at a time when China is working overtime to fuel the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East in order further it's military ambitions in Aisa - specifically to takeover control of Taiwan

The defeat of Ukraine will be a geopolitical and economic disaster for the entire world.

It will result in a massive post war humanitarian crisis following the Ukraine's defeat and economic collapse. The defeat of Ukraine may also give rise to war in Taiwan by the Chinese

Johnson has had little to no responsibility for the war in Ukraine and he has had dealing with this disaster forced upon him at the worst possible time.

If the funding passed keeps Ukraine alive long enough for a Trump Administration to get a shot a brokering a peace agreement it will money well spent.

If Trump does not get elected, we are facing national suicide and the Ukraine will be the least of our problems

MacGregor was the planner for Weasely Clark’s bombing of civilians in Belgrade during the Kosovo war. He has lots of innocent blood on his hands and, like his Mentor, is one of the Butchers of Belgrade.

There wasn’t a betrayal. This was set to pass with or without Trump.

I was in DC a few weeks ago and was able to sit in with a group of lobbyist and members of the House. During the AMA one lobbyist asked when will Ukraine funding pass? The answer was “in the next few weeks”.

For Macgregor to suggest Trump betrayed his base is just stupid. Trump is running a federal campaign effort while being clobbered by the Biden DOJ Lawfare. What is he supposed to do whip the vote by text in the courtroom?

His base wants him to win election.
