Actor Mark Hamill of "Star Wars" fame made the eyebrow-raising claim that President "Joe Biden is the best president we've ever had."
The post from Hamill, who played the character Luke Skywalker in multiple "Star Wars" films, has earned nearly 7 million views so far on X.

"Not satire," Seth Dillon, CEO of the satire site the Babylon Bee, wrote when retweeting Hamill's post.
"The galactic level of delusion or dishonesty necessary to even form that sentence Is gobsmacking," Jim Hanson wrote in response to Hamill's post.
"Hollywood liberals like Mark Hamill think regular Americans are stupid. All it takes is one trip to the gas station or grocery store to know Joe Biden is a horrible President," Brigitte Gabriel wrote.
"The Last Jedi is the worst Stars Wars movie we’ve ever had," Stephen Miller tweeted.

Hamill, who is an outspoken Trump opponent, tweeted on April 1, "I was thinking of posting that I've changed my mind & decided to join the MAGA crowd, then I remembered how much I dislike April Fool's jokes."
"I voted for four more years of an orange-free Oval Office," he wrote in a March 5 tweet, adding the hashtag "#BidenHarris2024"

Luke was my least favorite character. Weak-minded character who was poorly written as a petulant child. Even worse in the sequels. 40 years as a Jedi and still can’t figure it out. Chewbacca was my favorite. Loyal friend, capable of ripping off limbs, capable pilot and mechanic, galactic chess player, and all-around good buddy.
Neither #1 nor #2. Coming out of acting school, Mark came under the wing of Arthur Hill ("Owen Marshall MD"), who used his connections to get Mark TV roles. When the parts for Star Wars were being filled, Lucas thought the way Kubrick did for 2001, that he wanted mostly actors with experience but not big names, ending up with Ford--who like Hamill had TV experience in various shows--and Fisher. Getting Gielgud and Cushing were strokes of genius, creating a balance between the old and the young in acting, making the younger trio look more like a galactic version of the three musketeers.

You would certainly have to be senile to think that Biden is the best president ever. I’m well past Mark’s age & have admired him as an actor, but now I see that I most certainly would not rely on him for any political advice. Talk about missing the mark!! Maybe in his position he sees Biden this way, but I don’t see how. He had better get in touch with the times.

Casting directors are famously hit or miss when it comes to young actors.
Sometimes they stay cute when they grow up but often you get a Mickey Rooney that grows up to be a freak.
We all know he went over to the DARK SIDE a long time ago. Literally.
