The rock and roll hall of fame has become a joke. It’s funny that the hip hop and r&b crowd would be inducted. It’s actually quite telling. If I was them I would decline, but as we all know they have no shame, only self-promotion.
Dionne Warwick, is great, but she is MOR or light jazz/pop, not Rock and Roll. She sang Burt Bacharach tunes! I believe neither Connie Francis nor Neil Sedaka are in. Both should be.
Went to the Hall of Fame years ago...about 15 years ago. Didn’t see much because I was in desperate need of a new hip. But I did get to see Janis Joplin’s psychedelic Porsche.

Didn’t Cher have a melt down on Kelly Clarkson, because she had not been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I believe she said she would not accept it now.

Were it not for the few real songwriters he covered songs on he was and will always be a hitlery loving pothead (oh, and almost forgot at the same time DEA naro informant, the DEA owned all of his planes) marketer of crap. With all of the non-rock acts that are in the Hall, why haven’t The Monkees in? They are certainly a better band than some of the ones they are letting in. Maybe they’re waiting for Mickey to die before including them.
