unequal results can be the result of many factors beside racism. For example take two identical twin greyhounds. One is well fed, trained to race and practices regularly. The other lays around all day, eats what it can find, is untrained and poorly disciplined. Which one do you think will win a race 99.9% of the time?

There is a single false assumption behind these insanities, and that assumption is that “all races are, on AVERAGE are the same.”
If you start with that assumption than the “disparate impact theory makes sense, because the argument goes “if all races are on average the same then why are some races doing better than others? It must be because of some systemic “discrimination”.”
But all races are obviously not on AVERAGE the same.
A much better explanation for the “disparate impact” is the inconvenient fact that AVERAGE black IQ is 85 vs. white at 100 and east asians slightly higher.
So, no, all races are on AVERAGE not the same!!
But everyone is afraid to state that simple, proven truth, and so we come up with these insane, societally destructive policies like DEI.
The Chinese don’t have DEI - everything is based on merit. They will kick our asses... and we deserve it!

I imagine that would be true for the majority of us. I don’t know what would change our life long habits to make us think otherwise. I think it would be the last thing on our minds when we need or are referred to a specialist of whatever kind.. See what THEY have done to us? Or at least try to do to us daily?

I get it!! Somewhat like our “society”, I think is what you’re saying.. I grew up a Yankee and after living in the south for 18 years, I see things differently..no explanation necessary.
I don’t know how many are aware of a new TV network - Merit Street Media...I get it on Spectrum Ch. 19 - Dr. Phil promoted it when I first heard of it. That’s what he’s aiming for is M E R I T!!! He’s even had a show on DEI..covers the gamut of today’s problems...and the idiotic way politicians have of solving them.
In the heart procedures I had done, I took whoever the hospital assigned to my case. Never thought about checking credentials and choosing excellence. I just assumed that if they were working there, they were qualified.
The alternative is to buy into the Democrats white supremacy.
The blacks cannot possibly get ahead without superior white help.
The real problem is beyond endorsing leftist social science designed for self promotion-human innovation which is applied intelligence comes from wealth and freedom.
It’s not rocket science, the most clever dog in the end is the one with the wealthiest owner that affords it the most freedom.

It was definitely a good article but I found it very disturbing...I’ve always been fond of Heather MacDonald and just about anything that Hillsdale puts out, I have faith in.
I nearly didn’t finish it - I just got mine yesterday..I usually pass my copy on but I don’t know if I need to upset anyone with this one. FReepers can handle it but friends - maybe not! Maybe they’d rather not read it...
I don’t think the AMA ever had much credibility to begin with. I NEVER trusted them as I was brought up as far away from anything to do with medicine as my parents could get...
