Hope she’s up to date on all her taxes and hasn’t taken any deductions too close to “the line”.

Every couple of years these stories (remember “Walk Away”) pop up to give us hope. Be not deceived, FRiends. This does not portend a big trend, just small, insignificant exceptions to the rule.

Will there be enough black converts to Trump to overcome of onslaught of BIDEN'S NEWCOMER ILLEGALS voting in the November election?
No.

Wonder if that hat will make it long in Chicago. Could end up holy (or holey).
George Washington was much taller than the average soldier and was tall in the saddle facing enemies.
In the French and Indian War, Washington had two horses shot out from under him and received four bullet holes in his coat as well as one in his hat. This perceived immunity to bullets led one Indian chief to remark that some higher power must be guiding his life.

Grew up in the Chicago suburbs and knew by the time I was in the 3rd grade that dead people could vote!

Oh yeah.
I grew up on south side until I was 13 ½ then moved to the United States...Iowa to be exact. Chicago politics was a blend of Ireland and the Mafia at the time in the early 50’s. But I must say that even under that situation there was a magnificent public school system, and garden variety crime was not dealt with kid gloves. And the city worked!

The original Mayor Daley was a Democrat machine politician. But he had his cops crack quite a few hippie skulls during the Democrat Convention riots of 1968.

I'd love to see it.., all the descendants of slaves with MAGA hats! I thought black Americans, if nothing else, were street smart and if they can't see right through this PHONY POS Biden, then I've lost all faith in them.

"“I have conferred with the superintendent of police this morning and I gave him the following instructions, which I thought were instructions on the night of the fifth that were not carried out. I said to him very emphatically and very definitely that [he should issue an order] immediately and under his signature to shoot to kill any arsonist or anyone with a Molotov cocktail in his hand in Chicago because they’re potential murderers, and to issue a police order to shoot to maim or cripple any arsonists and looters–arsonists to kill and looters to maim and detain.” Mayor Richard J. Daley during the MLK assassination riots, April 1968.

I, too, grew up in Chicago in the 50’s. Marched in the St. Patrick Day Parade along the green river. Was Republican from age 8 up but always respected Daley, just as you said. Really missed him. Everything disintegrated after him. Now we can’t even go back to family cemeteries.

I’d add Polish to the group.
We moved to a corn field in Indiana from Chicago when I was 14.
Our socialization was physically with our neighbors, not our cell phones.
A few weeks ago I watched a mother with a kid in a grocery store that was probably about 1 1/2 y.o. pushing the kid in the cart with a cell phone in the baby’s face.
SICK AND BEYOND LAZY!
Ain’t gonna end well.
