Same with inheritances. My girlfriend works in banking and she knows of a 28 year old unmarried woman who blew through 3 million dollars in four years and is now down to about $10,000 left.
At least she stopped before she went to a negative balance.

I need to win so that I can take a couple of days off next week. Recalling, of course, what Steve Forbes once said about the lottery: “Actually buying a ticket only increases your odds of winning the lottery by a miniscule amount.”

If an irresponsible doofus wins it, then hundreds will also win as the doofus blows through cash buying their real estate, goods, and services. That's good news for me. I've been called an irresponsible doofus, so maybe that's an omen I will win. I can't wait to blow through this windfall.

Hmmโฆ Iโve never, ever, in all the decades of hearing about the lotteries heard or read this.
But I donโt gamble anyway, soโฆ.
