I’m still, and most likely will always be, cool to Flynn. Remember his last job/career was counter intel. Once a person jiggers he/she/its head around to operate in those kinds of areas there is no going back. Trusting what they say or understanding what they do requires bending ones own head around to a non-regular place.
If he can help Trump, that’s fine. But his motives/purpose/methods will always be second-guessed.

This is the same reasoning I have for discounting my dark-horse candidate of Adm Michael Rogers.
He checks off some good boxes (especially the “military loyalty” ones) but, you can never be quite sure with a spook.
I do think that a military man is in the mix, tho.
