Gene Hackman, 94, and his wife Betsy Arakawa, 62, were seen out and about in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on Thursday for the first time in two decades.
The reclusive actor, who has not starred in a film for the past 20 years, was spotted holding onto his wife's arm for balance as the pair grabbed a bite at Pappadeaux's Seafood Kitchen.
The legendary two-time Oscar winner and his long-time partner seemed to be in a good mood as they left the restaurant together.

Betsy Arakawa ? What a name . Ancient western female first name with a Japanese surname . Wild !
Not wild at all….same as my daughter in law .

That shouldn’t be a problem if you have their level of wealth.
LOL!

Caine is 91.
Even then, watching your lifelong friends die off, one-by-one, is something I wasn’t prepared for.
maybe she gets a kick out of changing his diapers...
And Clint Eastwood will be 94 in May. Make it a triple date. :)
“who the h*** would want to live that long?”
I would!
Have fun then.
That lady will keep a guy young... or kill him.
Wowzer.
I’m in similar size at 63. Not all older women are out of shape, nor do I wear sparkly dresses to Hollywood events. Haha
Hopefully I will make it well into my 80s. Beyond that its hard to say. :-)
I was the baby of the family. My last sibling, my oldest sister passed in 2014 at the age of 74. My parents passed in 1979 at the age of 73, and 1990 at the age of 69. My only brother passed in 1995 at the age of 51. My second oldest sister passed in 2011 at 69. I'm 76 now, will turn 77 in August. I'll be lucky if I make it to 80. Right now my only goal is not to outlive my two sons who are in their 50's.
Think positive my brother. We need people like you around here. :-)
Pappadeaux’s Seafood Kitchen is in Albuquerque.
French Connection & The Conversation are among my favorites of that era.
“Gene Hackman - he’s good in everything.”
