Despite ‘no increase’ in hurricane ferocity overall, a predicted ferocious season is set to be a ‘political football’ for green agenda

Real scientists are expecting an aggressive hurricane season, and even more aggressive “alarmist” messaging.

Katie Spence at The Epoch Times wrote this in her new article:

This year’s hurricane season, which officially starts June 1, is being predicted by WeatherBELL as the ‘hurricane season from hell,’ with weather patterns similar to those of 2005, 2017, and 2020.

Along with it, says the firm’s meteorologist and chief forecaster Joe Bastardi, will come the climate change blame game, which he calls a false narrative.

After Irma, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres called the 2017 season ‘the most violent on record.’

‘Changes to our climate are making extreme weather events more severe and frequent, pushing communities into a vicious cycle of shock and recovery,’ he stated.

After the 2020 season, Jim Kossin, an atmospheric research scientist at NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information, blamed ‘warmer-than-average ocean temperatures’ for the hurricane ‘hyper-activity.’

He said an increase in more ferocious hurricanes over the past 40 years was linked to climate change.

Yet, the problem with this theory, that our use of oil or driving gas cars is causing temperatures to rise, is that there has never been one piece of evidence linking the two—temperatures fluctuate, no matter how many cars we drive. There is also no evidence that storms are getting worse, no matter how many times the United Nations, the media, or government officials insist this is the case. And in fact, as also noted in Spence’s report, Bastardi revealed this, regarding hurricanes ferocity:

‘But there’s been no increase. And the size of the storms is getting smaller. That’s the other thing: hurricanes are smaller and more compact.’He said an increase in more ferocious hurricanes over the past 40 years was linked to climate change.

Here's the pictorial representation of Joe's hurricane forecast. In short (and if you can't see the pic), he's expecting a huge season for the Gulf of Mexico all the way 'round to Cape Hatteras... 2-to-3 times the average 'Accumulated Cyclonic Energy' in those areas.

5-9 major hurricanes while running through the entire alphabet of named storms. Not good.

Prediction of active hurricane season is based on the assumption that the weather will transition from el Niño to la niña conditions. La niña means reduced high altitude shear, which means storms can build more energetically. It may turn out, if la niña does in fact develop.(Right now el niño is weakening, maybe at neutral). But even if, it has nothing to do with greenhouse gasses. So yeah we may well have more hurricanes, but they will certainly lie about the reason.

I was on Sanibel two weeks ago. The causeway was in great shape (Gov DeSantis and gang) but the amount of damage on the island (still) was remarkable.

I live on the other Atlantic coast. Today I received my preseason forecast from the forecaster I regard the most. His guess is for more hurricanes than usual and probably stronger. El Nino fading, warmer water temps already (this I don’t see here,) and La Nina forming. He insinuates, at least to my reading, that Florida might do ok based on historic numbers and patterns. His next projections don’t come until May.

If they say it’s going to be bad, and it isn’t, we dodged the bullet.

If they say it’s going to be not so bad, and we have an Ivan or Hugo, than everyone will ride them out of town on a rail for putting everyones in life threatening danger.

This season, the Nina effect will be lessened, and the increase in cyclonic energy generated is depicted in the article mentioned commercial forecast. Lot of hurricanes, which Florida may miss on, but Gulf Coast TX and LA not so much. Natural hurricanes, not globull warming bullcrap. Check out the Saturday summary which is using real forecasting science not television clowns with faked up radar signatures.
