Two vigilantes have showed up to evict three brazen squatters who are living at a New York City home after its owner was arrested after she tried to remove them.
Adele Andaloro inherited her family's home, located in Flushing, Queens, but she was left aghast when squatters moved into her childhood home last month.
Andaloro confronted the squatters herself - and was subsequently arrested when one of the men inside called the police on her for changing the locks.
The furious homeowner, who had been in the process of selling the home, said: 'I'm really fearful that these people are going to get away with stealing my home.'
She also shared her fear that by the time authorities look into the matter, it may be more than 30 days since they moved in. Crucially, squatters in New York have rights after occupying a residence for more than a month.
According to neighbors, the unruly squatters have been seen and heard carrying out home renovations inside the Queens property.
On Tuesday afternoon, two men pulled their black truck into the driveway of Andaloro's home looking for the brazen occupants.
'We are looking to get this guy out,' said the unidentified man, who appeared agitated and was dressed in a black 'Trump' t-shirt. He said: 'I am here to talk to him.
'I want to see why he is here.'
One of the neighbors on the block, who saw what transpired, said 'holy c**p,' and said she had no idea that the squatter issue was causing so much backlash.
Many of the neighbors are baffled by the ordeal - and say they want to know how the squatters gained access into the house in the first place.

Democrat.
One of the neighbors on the block, who saw what transpired, said ‘holy c**p,’ and said she had no idea that the squatter issue was causing so much backlash.
They can’t figure out how taking somebody’s property from them might make them angry.
She'd figure it out quickly enough when it happens to her.
Theft is theft be it cigarettes from a convenience store, car jacking, bank robbery, or stealing someone's property.
There should never ever have been ANY laws on the books EVER to protect *squatters*.
So *vigilantes* showed up? GOOD!!!!!!!
And arresting the home owner is a complete perversion of justice.
Its like Congress. The Democrats blatantly steal things, the Republicans show up as ‘vigilantes’ but don’t do anything. Democrats keep the house.
Just when I think the world is upside down, I realize there is even more “down” then I thought. I would have handled this differently, with a loaded shotgun and a couple enormous friends of mine. I guarantee the squatters would be “evicted” before the cops came to arrest me. This is just so damn wrong, what this woman and so many others are going through. The government can throw you out of your house in no time at all, but you don’t have the same right.
Well ,if they moved into my house while I was at work. I would send them to meet their maker and let the chips fall where they may. I am fed up to here with this lawlessness BS. The constitution gives me all the permission I need to defend my property and defend it I will!
Erosion of property rights on display.
With the erosion of free speech., religion, firearms, etc we are headed straight toward fascism
In NY, can you keep the money you robbed from a bank if it's been over a month?
Many of the neighbors are baffled by the ordeal - and say they want to know how the squatters gained access into the house in the first place.
It’s called breaking and entering and it’s illegal.
Drag their worthless carcasses out of there, problem solved.
“The constitution gives me all the permission I need to defend my property and defend it I will!”
That’s true, but the Constitution stopped being “a thing” a long time ago. The RATs scoff at, and ignore, it routinely. You would be the one arrested, even though you were in the right. Especially so if you are white.
That's the way you do it...
Once again, notifying any authorities in this situation is the wrong move. This woman home owner should have immediately got with her friends to take care of the problem. Instead, the media is there and the police, so of course she goes to jail.
I understand the squatters called the cops, but the fact is, the homeowner tried to settle this by herself. Big mistake, now the home is watched and nobody can do anything to the squatters without getting caught.
Squatter remedy? An ass kicking.
Evict them and take possession.
Its back to the old days....the law of the sword. People cannot get used to it because they are civilized.
Trial by combat returns.
Every neighborhood needs a godfather.
Florida is about to put a stop to this via House Bill 621.
Once Governor DeSantis signs it, squatting will be a thing if the past.
Any state that doesn’t follow Florida’s model is complicit.
If she manages to get them out, I would advise her to sell ASAP and get the hell out of NY.
WHAT A DISGRACE TO AMERICAN PROPERTY OWNERS!!
Ummm - the owner was arrested for trying to get them to leave...
Exactly the play.
