GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A man who police say was the leader of a dangerous Gwinnett County restaurant armed robbery crew will spend the rest of his life in jail.
A Gwinnett County jury found 30-year-old Dametrius Marquel Sims guilty on four counts of armed robbery, two counts of attempted armed robbery, six counts of aggravated assault, and six counts of gun possession charges.
Sims, described by authorities as the most dangerous member of the group, is accused of leading a group that was involved in at least six robberies targeting restaurants and delivery drivers in the county between August and October 2017.
(snip)
Following his conviction, a judge sentenced Sims to four consecutive life sentences plus 90 years.

Is this the kind of evidence that can be used in a Georgia court?
I recently saw a Fulton County prosecutor question if cell phone location data can be trusted.
“Life in prison” means 5 years then release onto parole so you can kill again.
Not surprised
I was going to say he’ll probably do 12 to 14 years before he’s out. Then I looked at the parole guidelines.
Armed Robbery - 36 to 96 months = 3 to 6 years to serve. (Level 7 crime) Unless a life sentence, then 14 or 30 years.
Aggravated Assault - 65 - 90 % of the sentence. (Max sentence for that 20 years, so 13 to 18 years.
Probably hit the high end of the ranges unless the left takes over the state.

* Black victims want heavy penalties imposed on their specific tormentors, but are otherwise very crime-tolerant.
Nor am I.
multiply those numbers times four consecutive life sentences + 90 years ...
man, I thought surely this must be a J6 protestor are first, but nope, just a regular criminal! Good for the justice system for once!
If you are going to do a crime, leave the home at home. 🙄
