Her billionaire supporters, in coordination with the DC deep-state, want to to continue, no matter how badly she does to push the narrative that the GOP isn’t happy with Trump, create fake headlines it is a competitive race, and as always, promote the Uniparty narrative
Once the contributions start drying up, that is likely when she'll drop out.
Another possibility is that if in the remote instance that Trump either dies or is somehow disqualified from running (very unlikely), that she can claim to be the last one standing for the nomination.
But at this point, I would write in DeSantis over voting for her should Trump not be on the ballot in November.

Nikki may just be a placeholder until the convention. Lots of people say they will vote for Trump even if he goes to prison, but if they actually see him in an orange jumpsuit, they might decide to change their mind.
