Most of the places where it is the cheapest I would never want to visit. Heck, pretty much the same for the most expensive.

Pizza has been a big time mark up for years. Dough, tomato sauce, cheese, sliced meats, olive oil and toppings. $28 bucks buys one a nice sit down restaurant meal in many places. I got tired of the rip off that is pizza so I now make my own. It’s more work and not as good but it’s tasty enough for me.

NYC has the world’s best pizza. Here in PA it’s about half the price for a similar experience. Less crime too.

Atlanta - Fellini’s Pizza - large cheese pizza is $17.00, a fully loaded large is $23.95. Those prices look pretty reasonable given other cities.

Sammy's 16" large cheese pizza in Ocala is $13.00.
Little Joey's Tuesday special large pepperoni is $10.99.

If the guys making the pizza don’t sound like Mafia hit men, then it’s not pizza...so that should also be factored in.

I do not need a fancy and expensive pizza. The convenience store nearby has a little cafe counter and they sell a “supreme” pizza for about $12.00.

Detroit, Michigan: $16.36 million. I don't know about that.
A 4 piece is pretty high, but it worth the price. The Antipasto is excellent also.

Until recently NYC pizza by the slice and one ride on the Subway were the same price and they increased at the same rate. 1n 1950 the price was 10 cents. 15cents in ‘60, 25 cents in ‘72 and so on. In Manhattan the price of a slice in many joints has flown past the $2.90 a ride on a bus or subway.
