LOL! I’m still going to grow Kale! I love it!
I spent four hours in the ER yesterday, passing a Kidney Stone. My BFF SWEARS it’s because I eat too much Kale but they just run in my family. You are either prone to them, or you’re not. (I asked the doctor; he said Kale is fine and is not a problem.)
This was my first go-round with them. The pain was worse than a root canal or childbirth or slamming your hand in the car door! I never believed it - but I sure do NOW! :)
Oh no, that sounds awful. Hope you are feeling better soon. I have never had a kidney stone, or Tim, but then we don’t eat kale. 🤣
Seriously, a highly mineralized diet can cause them. And drinking distilled water can leech those minerals out. Trick is you do need minerals.
I would believe your BFF at this point.
Not the kale, but spinach and beets that you need to watch out for! No soy and almond milk for you!
