Tucker Carlson says Moscow is much cleaner and safer than any major city in the US...
(Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...
There are zero security concerns. For comfort, it helps to speak Russian or have someone with you who can translate signs and the odd conversation, but no one, especially from the government, is going to harass you.
What about Paris or London?
Obviously you haven't been in ANY of these American cities at any time of day. Nor have you read any news article in newspapers from there either.
And no, I'm not even talking about "bad" neighborhoods; now ALL neighborhoods, in those cities and many others here, are extremely unsafe!
I've never been to Moscow, never want to go there, but I doubt that it is as dangerous as these once GREAT and very safe American cities once were. And before you decide to poo poo what I've written, unlike YOU, I have actually lived, FOR MANY YEARS, in two of the American cities I named. I live somewhere else now and would NEVER go back to either one.
These State Department things have been wildly biased for the entire (almost) 15 years I’ve been going to Russia. I just ignore them. It’s only level four because our idiot government decided to all but break off diplomatic relations with Russia (over the “election interference” first, then the SVO).
Too bad they age very badly.
Feel free to move there...for good.

Good grief. What’s with all the emotionalism on this Moscow thing? I have no idea why you guys are attempting to compare a US citizen walking around in Moscow to one of our cities, but there is no comparison and re: the subject I was addressing... it has absolutely NO correlation. My comments concern the safety of a US citizen in Moscow. There’s a hot war going on and anyone with an ounce of logic might concur that it’s just not a good idea to go there. And hell, it’s not as if there hasn’t also been plenty of government warnings to that effect.
So, now...what? The US Embassy in Moscow AND the State Department AND the Travel State Gov office are all lying by saying it’s not safe? For what purpose?
The U.S. embassy raised its Russia travel advisory to Level 4 “Do Not Travel” status “due to the unprovoked and unjustified invasion of Ukraine by Russian military forces, the potential for harassment against U.S. citizens by Russian government security officials, the singling out of U.S. citizens in Russia by Russian government security officials including for detention, the arbitrary enforcement of local law.”
Do not travel to Russia due to the unpredictable consequences of the unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian military forces, the potential for harassment and the singling out of U.S. citizens for detention by Russian government security officials, the arbitrary enforcement of local law, limited flights into and out of Russia, the Embassy’s limited ability to assist U.S. citizens in Russia, and the possibility of terrorism. U.S. citizens residing or travelling in Russia should depart immediately. Exercise increased caution due to the risk of wrongful detentions.
Too cold for me. I don’t want to go to Anchorage either.
Notice anything missing in that picture zeeper? Like trash? Like drugged out zombies? Like homeless tents? You zeeps are pathetic azzwipes. Note the use of the double z. Jackwad.

So, you’re one of those “Russia is our friend” folks, then? Sorry, but I disagree. Russia is working with Iran and with other US enemies against the USA and has been for ...gee.. as long as I can remember. And for the record, I don’t trust that Zelensky idiot running and ruining Ukraine either.
some stunning places to see in Russia

I regret having to say this, BUT I WAS NEVER A FAN OF THE EVER “CHANGING MINDS” KIND OF GUY LIKE CARLSON.
I remember him from the “CROSSFIRE” SHOW AND I NEVER THOUGHT HE REALLY, REALLY BELIEVED WHAT HE WAS SAYING.
He ALWAYS, eventually had his audience, held, breathlessly for what he would say...and then after a while, he SOMEHOW COLLAPSED.
TO THIS DAY, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HIS BASIC PHILOSOPHY IS.
And that is sad. All of this is ONLY MY HUMBLE OPINION..
Re: 68 - Grow up, potty mouth.
Do you feel free in America Danie?
Looks just like several Indian reservations in the American west.
“There are zero security concerns. For comfort, it helps to speak Russian or have someone with you who can translate signs and the odd conversation, but no one, especially from the government, is going to harass you.”
Um...ok. But I’ll pass. I do happen to like Stoli, but that’s about as close to anything Russian that I ever plan to get.
Oh wait, that's San Francisco. You propaganda makes you look like a stupid ass.
I was simply stating the horrible FACTS about three cities ( I could have made that list longer, but kept it brief ) that I know well; especially two of them. I know EXACTLY what two of these cities were once like and what they ARE like now. You can't even be in the most expensive, "elite" places in those two places now...even in the day time...without taking your life in your hands!
Many American cities are neither safe nor clean! Tourists really can't/shouldn't go to historical sites, elite shopping districts, or even museums, which were once FREE, but now cost huge sums. And many hotels have been given, free of charge to them, CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS!
Both London and Paris are as bad!
Think that you aren't spied on, in many American cities and yes, even small towns? THINK AGAIN!
My first post to you and this one are rebuttals to your blinkered, uneducated comments re American cities; especially that whopper about people being "free" here.
“Do you feel free in America Danie?”
Not since the commiecrats stole the last presidential election and proceeded to Cloward-Piven us into collapse. Why do you ask?
This whole debate thing started because that idiot Tucker felt the need to pander to the Russians by touting how great Moscow is. I happen to take issue with that stance.
And bashing and shooting down US cities by pointing out the obvious decline HERE is not exactly changing my view or making a valid point to the contrary. In fact, the more I see folks here touting how great Moscow/Russia is.... the more (even more) suspicious I get....lol. It’s actually amusing to see so many pro-Russians come out of the woodwork here.
