As far as I’m concerned, he’s an anchor, baby. I’ve seen nothing to clarify if his parents were here legally or not at the time that he was born. Anyway, Ramaswami is about as inauthentic as you can get. he is not American. He is culturally Indian, he married in Indian, he is raising his family as Indians, he has hired Indians, including H1B. He’s done nothing to assimulate or be an American. He talks about American history and religion and stuff like a high school debater, spouting talking points but doesn’t understand or appreciate what he’s talking about.
Keep repeating the that and maybe you’ll start to realize how silly it is.
Hint: the Founders and their writings of this weren’t foolish and they are clear.
I think people will freak out no matter who Trump chooses.
Vivek says the right things, appears to have the right attitude. I have no idea what he is really qualified for, hopefully the people responsible make a sober decision.
So perhaps Trump will find a place for him on his team, but that might not be VP.
I would hope Trump would pick someone with significant executive experience of some kind. Governor fits, but it could be some other kind of executive experience.
The odds of a VP becoming prez are not small, so he should pick someone who could govern well. I would say this no matter who was president. A whole lot of presidents left office before their term was over.

Richard Nixon remains the only US President to have ever stepped down from his post.

EXACTLY - why be excited about this? TDS works both ways - I think we have lost sight of what really needs to be done.
I am losing more confidence in a second Trump administration being capable of accomplishing anything. Just more deals, the economy might get better but immigration will not be changed and government intrusion on our lives will not abate. Do we really see a hardline approach to the reduction in the size and scope of government? Too bad; seemed promising. Perhaps the best thing that could happen is if Trump wins and uses the full weight of the ‘law’ to gain prison sentences for many in DC before his 4 years is up - that is our last chance to hold accountable the responsible parties. I don’t think he has it in him to lead that charge - not his style.

So, do we think Indian-Americans would vote for this ticket? Kind of love them, they don’t cause no trouble, don’t bring their old world squabbles over here, but are most likely enlistable in the struggle against Muslims which seems due to heat up a good deal. I think a lot of people were for the vaccines before we discovered their evil intent. Those people shouldn’t be faulted, IMO.
However, if one is STILL pro-vax, that is another story. That would clearly be a problem.
