Try being a cop, who arrests a violent criminal, processes the criminal and completes the lengthy report to accompany it, only to find out that that same violent criminal is back out on the street within two hours, all because the government is corrupt. Now multiply that for every officer that has that happen to them every day. Would you even want to get up in the morning and go into that kind of work environment? It's like, why bother? But the majority of cops do get up every day, go into work, put their life on the line, and face the same horse$hit over and over. And then they wonder why some cops drink, commit suicide, or end up getting divorced. How can that type of negative work environment not affect your personal life? I was lucky. I was already divorced when I took the job in 1980, didn't drink, and had two sons to raise alone, so that I couldn't allow the job to affect me that way.
The worst thing you can do to a cop, is order him to ignore crime, and not enforce the laws he took an oath to uphold. It's the quickest way to destroy morale. I know, because I worked in a system like that, and thankfully, was able to live long enough to retire. The good Lord allowed me to live long enough to retire 20 years ago. Many of the people I worked with, mostly younger than me, never got that option. They died working for the government. I've never missed the actual job, just the decent people I worked alongside of.
Law enforcement individuals don't have the option to refuse a direct order. They could try claiming it wasn't a lawful order, but the system is rigged, and would never recognize that their failure to follow an order was justified. They will be brought up on disciplinary charges, and likely out of a job that perhaps they've been in for years, with the great possibility that they could lose their retirement pension, and medical benefits to boot. Governments have turned police forces into nothing more than babysitting services. Everything a cop does today is under a microscope. They even second-guess when they shoot a perp running toward them with a knife. And the media excoriates them, and tries them in the press, declaring them guilty, and prejudicing the public against them, without the benefit of a trial. They're damned if they do, and damned if they don't. If you don't like cops, that's one thing, but don't hate them because the government they work for, won't let them do their job.

As long as Blacks reliably vote for the RAT party they will NOT be replaced. It’s Whiteys vote they want to minimize.
I was born and live in NY State, so same Democrat corruption here, but I live in a small city in a red county in the Mohawk Valley area. My screen name fools some people, but it’s actually the second black unit raised in the North during the Civil War. For several years I regularly traveled to Boston to do research on the 54th and 55th Mass., and met some nice people while I was there. I’m sure they’re either dead or old like me now. I used to go to the National Archives and Library of Congress in Washington regularly too, but I’m glad I’m not doing it these days, because of all the problems in Democrat-run shit-holes. Met a husband and wife from Springfield, Mass., on a walking Jack the Ripper Tour in London back in 2006. I assumed they were Democrats, because how else would Ted Kennedy keep getting elected. I was surprised to find out that they were Rush Limbaugh fans like me. We ended up getting on the wrong train back to our respective hotels, so had some time to chat before we got the right train in the direction we needed to take.

I understood. Like the guards in NAZI concentration camps. They were just following orders. That wasn’t an excuse after WW2, it isn’t now.
They should have walked off the job and stopped protecting the terrorists. At least then the locals could have defended themselves. Instead, they aided and abetted the takeover of the government because their pension was worth more than their country. What happened in 2020 was only possible because the police chose the wrong side.
I will have nothing to do with them. I do not trust them. I will not support them. We’d be better off with vigilante committees or the Mafia. I live in fear of them. They are not much better than Hamas if they protect domestic terrorists, worse if they do it just to keep their job. At least Hamas believes they doing Allah’s will and aren’t just collecting a paycheck.
Rather than defending them you should be angry at how far they have been corrupted. What happened 25 years ago is irrelevant to what happened three years ago.
Refund the police. Setup neighborhood enforcement committees
