All good plans for the lib point of view, I must admit. We wouldn’t want to do anything hard, like reform the pathological culture from which most of these criminal emanate

If not then collecting and exterminating is the only solution...

I believe the problem is rooted in black culture rap. As long as there are punks rapping the do a hoe, have more blo and Killa cop this will persist. With a solid diet of crap, you become crap.

Go back into the Diana Ross days and the themes were love.

Where did the love go?

Let’s start with LBJ and his government’s policy that ended up destroying the black family. For the black community,it’s his policies that pumped black illigitemate births from 30 percent to over 75 percent. Young males with no male influence in the household only yields rapping duckweeds.

Policy yielded it, policy and culture can undo it.

So, the question becomes how can you put love and hope back into dickweeds?

I know BHO has no meaningful ways as it’s his hope and change that exacerbated the situation. Shit leadership is another 8 track failed recording. Hope and change? My ass!

... about crime: “We cannot prosecute and arrest our way out of it”

That is a straw man.

No halfway intelligent person, in any society, has thought that arrests and prosecutions would end all crime. The purpose is to bring those that you can to account, remove them from society for a while and hopefully deter them and others from committing crimes. It is nearly guaranteed that an inmate won't commit any crimes in general society.

It reduces crime in those ways. Not pursuing justice guarantees that crime will grow exponentially. Ending all crime is an insane fantasy promulgated by con men.

The criminals want easy money. When getting caught and jail time, the idea of easy money sails out the window.

Is shooting them dead in their tracks while they’re in the middle of committing a crime an option? Asking for a friend.

The Biblical Greek word meaning "repent" is μετανοέω (metanoeō, pronounced met-an-oh-eh'-oh; a verb) or "repentance," which is μετάνοια (metanoia, pronounced met-ahn'-oy-ah; a noun), both related to a change of one's mind, without which a change of behavior only amounts to evading a beating as a jailing in solitary as consequences resulting from one's conduct.

Given liberty, the decadent behavior only begins again. Any ceasation of a deliberate negative mode of behavior by incarceration or infliction of pain that does not result in a complete unreserved permanent beneficial change of mind is only a postponement of harm to self and/or others. That fruitless approach is better replaced by termination of the perpetrator's life, is it not?

If the majority of a city is composed of mentally deranged but functioning people who voted to abolish jails for criminals, is it put into action?

This is what DC has become, an insane majority of leftist prosecutors and judges who keep DC a killing ground, on purpose.

Glad I got out of there. Even my son who was a federal police officer (still doing national security work) wants to get out as soon as his term of service ends.

PS: He was a combat soldier in Iraq in a company that was awarded a Presidential Unit Citation for combat operations that helped end the war. DC is a ( criminal) war zone just like Iraq was.

Wayfortunately, I agree. Way too late to arrest prosecute and jail their way out of it. Fifteen years ago they might have been able to.

Take off and nuke the site from orbit. It’s the only way now.

“We cannot prosecute and arrest our way out of it”

In other words: Enforcing the Law is useless.

I recall reading that in the 1950s, Black couples had a lower divorce rate than White ones.

They don’t care.

Why? Because they don’t see it as a problem. This is the maddening part of trying to reason with otherwise reasonably savvy people. They are unable to comprehend that some folks are essentially saboteurs.

Once in a while they will bust a fireman for setting fires, or a cop robbing banks, or a doctor killing patients. Politicians have a lot of this kind of thing going on.

We used to say or hear things like “we all want the same things we just disagree on the most effective way to do it”; well anything approaching that sentiment died a long time ago.

Now it is pure hate and invective and rhetoric and the rest of it. Dissent is not allowed.
