The re-election campaign of New York City mayor Eric Adams was secretly funded by business leaders who then reimbursed donors, a bombshell report has claimed.
Business owners in the city's hotel and construction industries asked people close to them to donate over $10,000 to the Democrat's re-election bid, according to a joint investigation by The City, Documented, and the Guardian US.
Three donors to Adam's re-election campaign claimed they, as well as two of their spouses, were reimbursed after making the donations - which would make them illegal straw donations, meant to hide the identity of those actually providing the funds.

It doesn’t commonly get jail time like D’Souza did, but this is a serious crime. The left likes to regulate everything, and if their precious campaign finance laws can be circumvented, they’re meaningless

Well Act blue was caught making mass donations in other peoples names without those people’s knowledge. That went nowhere, so why would anything be done about this.
