We have the ability to defang 100% of the Mullah’s proxies in Yemen, Syria and Iraq without doing what Halley suggests she would do. Trump showed that possible when he took out the IRGC head when he was in Iraq. We know where they all are and we can go further than Trump did without doing what Halley suggests. By taking out the Mullah’s proxies the chess game will be left to their next move, if they dare chose to, which would be to try to stike in some way directly from Iran. THEN we will be able to do what Halley says we should do now.
I think its a good plan. We should give her a rifle and have the CIA drop her in tonight.

And the Israel making peace bit is just the latest cover story. A good opportunity / excuse to ramp up stuff that’s been going on from Iran for some time.
Basically, reimpose the sanctions.
I agree, but that will take some time to take effect, and I don't know if a lot of our allies and trading partners have such time, once shortages begin in earnest.
You may want to consider:
A) The Saudis can’t handle it. Already proven. Biggest problem is that they simply don’t have the manpower, 2nd problem is they got savaged by world opinion / support withdrawn when they tried to squash the Houthis. Our libs being part of the “savaging” of course.
B) Even beyond countering very considerable economic risks being created by Iranian proxies, I suspecting that those troops are still at Tower 22 (etc., ie., “forward bases”) because we are trying to make sure Hezbollah, etc., realize they have a serious logistics problem due to those troops’ presence.
This helps Israel, but I don’t think helping Israel is even the main motive. The main motive is to deter Hezbollah from starting a full scale war in the North and East of Israel. Such a war puts the US in the position of either fighting Hezbollah, full scale, which REALLY kicks things off all over the region, OR, risking the Israelis if hard pressed, going nuclear.
