“ Steppenwolf’s Magic Carpet Ride”
As if that will mean anything to anybody below 70 years of age.
Sounds like the marketing replacement for Horseface Woman is as brilliant as she was.
“ Steppenwolf’s Magic Carpet Ride”
It’s an awesome song. Steppenwolf should have not let them use it.
Instead use The Kinks “Lola”.
So somebody in Marketing suggested Alissa Heinerscheid could do a fill in.
The plan was for Her to "self-identify" as a Clydesdale.
Piece of cake since She has the face for it, right?
Unfortunately for Them, the Real Clydesdales took one look at Alissa, broke down their stalls, ran off, and haven't been seen since.
Oh well, She probably would have had the same effect on everyone in the stadium.
Could have had thousands hurt in the turmoil with more billions lost in insurance payouts.
Don't know for sure if any of this is true, but I saw it on the Internet, posted by some guy named Bud Lyte, so it must be.
Didn’t they do a commercial after the drag queen fiasco and basically mocked the hard working Americans in an attempt to show us ‘we love you’?
Am I misremembering?
Anyway, this is just terrible - they are trying to get the 50 and 60 year olds back on board. Can you see the brainstorming meetings? It would be laughable to see how hateful and misguided they were as they try to target the people they stabbed in the back who are gone forever. I am sure ‘trailer trash’, ‘farmers rolling in the mud wrestling a pig’, ‘pregnant teenagers with cigarettes’ and ‘poor people’ entered the chats.
Never forget. They hate us. They just want your money. They supported an agenda that promotes the disappearance of women with the message, ‘you aren’t needed anymore’.
That was a thing in 1968. What is their target audience? Octogenarians?.........................
“As if that will mean anything to anybody below 70 years of age.“
Seriously. I was surprised hearing that the other day. I was like twelve when that song came out. Couldn’t t fathom who they thought that would connect with.
