I have met 2 people who swear they were at Woodstock. I had no reason not to believe them.
My Dad wouldn’t let me take his car for the w/e.
All in all that turned out OK.
I hate traffic jams and camping in the rain.
I was born a little less than a year after Woodstock ... can’t ask my mother about it any more, she has since passed.
The one in 1994?...
I’d vote for it.
My husband was there.
Hitchhiked bc of the traffic jam.
Lost him two years ago. 💔
I went. It sucked, too dirty and far away for a 15 year old dumbass who ran away to go.
Then much to my mom’s desires I went to the Bull Island Soda Pop Festival in New Harmony, Indiana, a perfect location if you know the history of the area. Then we went to a 2 day event In Indianapolis that I can’t remember what it was called. Terrible experience..
Then I had the great fortune to attend what I consider the best festival of my concert going experience even though critics didn’t like it, the 3 day festival in Sedalia, Missouri. I still think about the awesome music I heard in Missouri.
Those were different times. I cannot imagine how much it would cost to try and do something like that in today’s world. Burning Man is kinda close with attendance numbers, but nothing else.
Too young. I was 8. I thought Woodstock was a little bird on Charlie Brown.
And here it is:
I met a bunch of musicians later that were there. Too young. I think I was 12.
I was 12, and I lived in Upstate NY, probably 150 miles away.
I probably would have gone had I been in college at the time, although I probably would have hated the logistics (food, shelter, facilities, getting there) more than I would have loved the music.
F LBJ, the Democrats, and the globalists who lied to get 58,000 of our troops killed, and countless more injured, physically, chemically, and psychologically. All so they could line their pockets
I remember some kid brought the Woodstock Album to listen in Art class, 7th grade. When they did the ‘Fish Chant’ (?) the teacher freaked out and scratched the record trying to take it off …
I was not there at Woodstock and at the time had never even known about "grass."
Missed Woodstock, made Watkins Glenn.
If ALL the people who claimed to h ave been at Woodstock, WERE really there, it would have had to have been 10x larger. Same as people claiming to have been at game Babe Ruth supposedly pointed to a spot in the stands then hit a home run there. Same, just different.
I was a 15 year old Boy Scout and a young neighbor couple borrowed my camping gear and it went. Does that count? :)

I was about to start my freshman year at Occidental College. I read about the event in the newspapers, but I didn’t care at all for that sort of music. I had my ear glued to KWIZ, an all Oldies station in Santa Ana, Calif. and also Chuck Cecil’s Swingin’ Years on KFI (Rush’s future home in the Southland), a program devoted to the Big Bands of the early- to mid-twentieth century. I was also starting to acquire a collection of records that today amounts to more than 1,000 78 rpm discs and a similar number of 45’s.
I joined the United States Army on 16 August 1969.
We have a winnerrrr!!!!
I briefly thought about it, but correctly figured it would be a real logistical mess. More recently, I got to know a guy who was there selling acid and he did lots of it himself.
He is a flaming liberal, and the acid may well have caused it. He hated Trump with a white-hot passion, and that’s why I stopped talking to him. Don’t know if he’s still alive, and don’t care. Most likely the clot shot got him by now.
