I was 12, and I lived in Upstate NY, probably 150 miles away.

I probably would have gone had I been in college at the time, although I probably would have hated the logistics (food, shelter, facilities, getting there) more than I would have loved the music.

I was too young....parents would have never let me go anyway..did not have any money nor a car..yes later once married we drove thru there....

but when you think of all the good guys getting killed or maimed in Nam, it's almost insanity for one group to be under assault and the other privilege people to be drugged up and filthy at a concert,,,

because we had such an arrogant and self centered group of idiots is why our society is where it's at today.
